like one or 2 a year maybe...it doesnt help me to get out of class because i almost have to work more being in marching band. the disadvantages are greater than the advantages. heat, cheerleaders, etc

we had a "community pep rally" a few weeks ago and it was incredibly useless. a bunch of little kids trying to act tough or peppy because their parents have just spoiledtheir chances of them ever becoming a well-adjusted band geek *sigh* but i just go really distracted...but practically no one came and ww had to stand there in the heat and playy the crappy fight song over and over and over and it was a total waste of time

I have no school spirit, but my rally was today. We cheered, played games, and every grade level did little skits. omg.. eggs were thrown at the freshmans.

I can honestly say now that my lack of school spirit is in no way contingent on how the school is doing itself.

We have one tomorrow for homecoming. I am consierably less than thrilled, especially since we have to rehearse before and after it.

I love rallies, they can get so fun. Yeah, parts are boring, but the class skits are always the best. throb.gif

Yea we have pep rallies. Except we just call them rallies.
Ours is on Friday and I can't wait!!
We have the best rallies in the district. It's crazy loud and really fun.
Whichever class has the most spirit wins money for their class. Pure fun. CLASS OF 2009!!!!

Yeah we have pep rallys at our school.
It's to honor the students that don't have any F's or U's on their report cards.
It's not very hard not to fail a class,
yet not a lot of kids get to go the rallies.

At our school's rallys,
we get free t-shirts _smile.gif

my high school had them, its a tradition, and we have spirt week where everyone decorates thier hallway but diff class each day so seniors are the last and we get into it a lot, but it depends on the class like when i was a senior our class didn't care as much as the sophmores did but its cool, and this year i went back to homecoming with my friends cause we came back from college to visit and we won.. we have a good football team =]

I honestly hate pep rallies. I think that they are a waste of time, and I always feel out of place because I'm one of those people who never cheer, at least not in situations like those.

I don't like pep rallies as much as I used to when I was in junior high. They seemed more fun.

I think there's a pep rally Thursday. I hope I don't have to go. It will be interesting to see if people are peppier now that our school seems to have the number one football and basketball teams in the state.

We have them.
I hate them though it mostly revolves all around the cheerleaders.
Then all the guys gape at them.
But it's nice to get out of class.

We have a pep rally Tuesday that was supposed to be for the success of the football team and the recently begun basketball season, but the football team just lost, so this should hopefully be amusing.
