I am attempting to make this waterfall image.

Mmm, I got the waterfall ALMOST done, at least. I still need to edit the white highlights and make it not so crisp; blur it a little. Of course, It's complicated to blur it in Painter because there's no softening tool; I'll have to deal with the hard-to-work-with smudger brush.

The grass and plants aren't even close to being done! For the grass, I want to make it a little blurred, but make a few distinct blades visible. Maybe add water lilies, if that's even possible with my rookie stage here, lol. I'm also thinking of adding a few pink or blue flowers to the grass, I don't know if that'll work though.

Also, the rocks & ground aren't so solidly constructed right now. I need to repaint them and make them crisper and more...well, more ground-like. XD

But I think it looks pretty good for about 2 hours of work so far. Here's the first image. (thumbed)

---------------------checkpoint2---
Okay, so by this point, I've spent about 3-4 hours on it. Thanksgiving Day, so I didn't really do much on this.
Anyways, I know the first image looked pretty crappy. I like the second one better, but it's still at an early stage.
So! Today, I added a tint of green to the brown cliff, just to make it seem more tropical. And for the grass, I redid it all over again. I'm fairly satisfied with this one.
I finally finished the waterfall, by blurring and smudging a bunch, lol. Anyways, I think a few more days on this and about 5 hours should do the trick! Wish me luck on my checkpoint3!

Please give me some feedback :]

I really like the assortment of colors you used in the waterfall. Not a fan of the ground........and grass.

^Won't load for me either..

From the little preview though, the waterfall looks great, yet the grass looks a little odd.
