I'm having trouble. I want to create my own Xanga layout, but I'm getting confused. If you could answer these questions, that would be alot of help.
1. How do I change the colors for the underlined, bolded, and italicized font? 2. How do I get a banner at the top? 3. How do I make the background image cover the whole page? If you know anything about these problems, please let me know! |

You have to use css to define colors for bold, italics, and underline. Like this:
CODE <style type="text/css"> b, strong{ /* edit colors when bold */ color: #000000; } i{ /* edit colors when italicized */ color: #000000; } u{ /* edits colors when underlined */ color: #000000; } </style> To get a banner at the top of your xanga, you have to upload your image that you want at the top to an image host like Image Shack. Then you copy the direct link of the image url and you paste it where it says URL HERE. Like this: CODE <img src="URL HERE"> And once you've done that, you copy the whole image code and paste in your INPUT HTML HEADER box in your look & feel. It must be the first thing in your box. And to make a background image cover the whole page, you have to either make it the size of the screen and the standard size of a computer screen is 1024 x 768. Or you can make the background image repeat like this: CODE <style type="text/css">
body{ background-image url(" URL HERE"); background-repeat: repeat-x-y; } </style> |
