eh Samurai X is definitely better. Rurouni Kenshin is a childish series. Really!
Samurai X has 100 times the better animation and its story is more interesting, serious, and depressing (even though it was a short one..). The characters weren't even as annoying as the ones in Rurouni. Plus, better fighting scenes =P and violence... |

Samurai X OVAs owned Kenshin. Though i did like how in Kenshin he would have those flashback moments and want to kill.

Rurouni Kenshin
I enjoy the peaceful kenshin, with a few spots of violence... or more than a few But he's so cheerful and I just like him in the Rurouni Kenshin. Granted, I've seen little of Samurai X, so I wouldn't be the best judge. |

Yenno Samurai X was more for the older folks while Kenshin was like the americanized series for little kids.

That's tough but I voted Kenshin because sometimes in X I felt like the violence over powered the whole . I just liked Kenshin better for some reason. I was drawn to it more. It seemed more focused on the story. I liked that a lot.
