You should put all of your images on separate layers and use an eraser with a REALLY LOW hardness to erase the edges. After that, you can play with the layer fill opacity, and blend that way.

Okay, start with a large, transparent new image.
Then copy and paste your images onto that canvas - new layers should automatically be created. |

What kind of blending do you want?
I suggest creating new layers and making each a separate color. Then use an eraser with a really low hardness to "blend it" together. |

When you click "new image" a dialog box should come up, and of the background colors, there should be a transparent option there somewhere (I have a later version of PS, but that still should be there)

Okay....
In that case, you order your layers like this (from top to bottom) TOP---> color1 color2 color3 color4 Various Pictures <---BOTTOM When you have these separate layers, use the eraser tool as said before, and also, in "Layer Properties" or "Blending Options" you can make the layer mode "Normal" (that's automatic), "Overlay", "Multiply" and so on. For your color layers, I suggest using one of those 3. |

Okay, under "Layers" (or something like that) on your toolbar, click "New Layer." (Now you have created a new layer. Now, paint it all any color that you want

Hm.. it wouldn't let you?
Let's see. Click "Layers" again, and there should be an option there that says "Flatten Image" That will merge all of them for you. |
