yea I do believe that we should be concerned especially because they are happening for a reason. like with e coli in the meat with madd cow it was because there was tainted meat put into other collctions of meat like in hamburgers, with fast food- hamburger meat isn't made from one cow its made from many differen parts of cows. kidna gross. and sometimes manure can get into the meat and contaminate the meat and meat packing factories don't stop it or catch it.. so literally there is "sh*t in your meat" - btw i'm not making this stuff up I read in Fast Food Nation- Eric Schlosser. And it covers whats in your food. it is a bit graphic not as graphic as The Jungle, but it is informative least it was with me and other people i know that read the book.

I really think that it's the effect of mankind on Earth. It could be a way for the Earth to naturally control the human population..
And well, since we're using up so many resources, the Earth is bound to change in some way. Bacteria thrives in nutrients, so maybe we're dumping a large amount of it into the water and that water somehow gets into our systems.

We should be concerned, but we should be even more worried about biochemical engineering/technology. I mean, if they wanted to, they could recreate a plague or pandemic, make it super-powerful so that no one's immune, and release it.
