this happened to me recently pinch.gif at least... some people i know say he is. i'm not 100% sure...

i don't think there's been a topic on this... if there has been, sorry. i can't search using 3 letter words.

This has happened to me. I wouldn't say I fell for the guy, but I did have feelings for him.

When I first met him I thought he was gay, but everyone told me he wasn't. So I started hanging out with him and became very good friends with him. I began to think that maybe I just thought he was gay cause he was really nerdy and awkward. He had a very strange sense of humor and personality.

He eventually became my best friend and I had a bit of a crush on him. But in the end he came out and told everyone he was gay, I was the first one he came out to and told me that if I had a penis we would be lovers.

This was over 2 years ago and we remain best friends.

When I was dating my ex, he was straight (obviously). But now.....he's gay. Which is still a little weird for me, since I've known him as the straight person that I met.

I'd like to be able to say that I can tell when a man is gay, but after watching Oprah I just don't know anymore.
I can't imagine what it must be like to be intimate with a guy and then find out he's gay... not mention women who get married to gay men and have children.
I've never really had this happen to me.

Not to sound mean, but there's a freshman boy who is clearly gay and he dates girls and denies the fact. Of course, some of it might have to do with the fact that it's highschool and his peers might not take well to the gay fact.

^ haha, wow. Why was he your boyfriend, then? That must've been pretty awkward.

Anyways, nope, I've never fallen for a gay guy. I usually do know when they're gay, and it kinda creeps me out. Not that being gay disturbs me or anything, it's just kinda like...scary whenever i see a gay guy.

Hm, that's slightly strange. Are you sure he isn't just being straight to "fit in"? I know it sounds rude, but I don't see how you can switch that.
I know a guy who's bi, and after people found out he tried to be totally straight. I mean you are what you are.

wow i feel bad for people who have to hide their true sex orientation... :/
high school is so "everybody has to fit in" over here though, it'd be really hard to come out.

Yeah. It was actually a big thing, because the guy was pretty popular and the way he came out wasn't of the best circumstances.
One of the guys he played sports with said he was "checking him out" and he was making jokes about it with all the other guys (and I guess he didn't think he was seriously into guys). And it really hurt the guy who's bi. And eventually his g/f was questioning it and so he told her that he thinks he likes guys but he still likes women and she told pretty much everyone.

I always seem to find out once I meet them, It doesn't bother me. Their really sweet most of the time, so I guess it would be predictable if you fell for one if you didn't know. -shrugs- I've never fallen for one though.

Never happened to me, but my [girl] friend, who is bi herself has incredibly serious issues with falling for gay guys.

Happens every time.

And sometimes, on drunken Friday nights, she's hooked up with her gay guy friends.

Lets just say, it makes for very awkward next days/weeks/years.

=]

And my school is incredibly open. Well, my entire crowd anyway. ^^

wow, my school's like the opposite, there's only like 1 or 2 gay / 3 seriously bi people. or maybe everybody's just keeping it to themselves.

when i broke up with my boyfriend back in highschool. i kinda started liking my bestfriend. everyone always teased him and were so mean to him about being gay! so i always defended him. so we were bestfriends and we were really close. So i ended up liking him, and we went to a dance together, and he told me he didnt like me like that. i was soooooo sad. 2 years later, when we graduated, he told me he was gay. and that he didnt want to tell me because he thought i wouldnt wanna be friends with him anymore.

but we are still good friends and love each other :)

Ick, that reminds of the stupid "trend" at my school of girls saying their bi, 'cause they think they'll appeal to more guys.
At my school it's crazy because there's like sophmores having babies and we're number one in the state for most reported stds. Yeah, that's something to be proud of.

I had this mild child-infatuation for a guy who was 7 years older and absolutely beautiful. He was really metro and I couldn't really tell if he was gay or not, so I chose to see him as not. But, it turned out that he WAS,... and the funny thing was that it made me 100x more comfortable to just hang out with him and all of my infatuation for him pretty much evaporated.
