There's this boy in my lunch period that i think is cute, but i don't know how to start a conversation with him. He's not in any of my other classes and he sits on the other side of the caffeteria. I talked to him once, you know, introducing myself, but i said something stupid and i think i annoyed him. How am i supposed to talk to him without creeping him out or anything? I just want to be friends and see where it goes.

Yeah, two are in some of my classes, but they're kind of...losers. People you wouldn't usually want to be caught talking to.

well.
you could occasionally talk to them when no one is looking Oo. and then eventually talk to them at lunch, but stand closer to the guy you like, and bring him into the conversation and then gradually stop talking to the 'losers' and focus on him Oo. |

If he's in of your classes, maybe you can ask him help for homework or something.
Or when you're buying food, ask him if you can borrow some money. Or be like, "This food is sh*t." or "The (insert food here) looks really nasty." or something like that. |

I'd love to move to a table closer to him, sadly i can't. Everyone has this "we sit here all the time, get out of our table" attitude going on. The dollar thing would probably work, but i can't be sure.

ah you should have like a biggg party for something and invite him...ehh, idk.
Do you know if he has a myspace or sn or something... if he does it might be easier to get to know him online then you might have something to talk to him about in school. There was this one guy that I liked last year and I started talking to him online and stuff.. and now he's like my best guy friend. sooo.. that might work. |

when u see ur friend talking to him just go up nd say hi to ur friend that way you can start a conversation and he will like you and eventually you guys will go out and then for a while you will have a good relationship, but then you guys will break up and you will come onto cB - Relationships and complain

i think that if you do everything everyone's said he'll think you're stalking him. :]
if you see him, say hi. if he's that far away from you, then i wouldn't make it a huge deal to get closer. but if you really have the urge to talk to him, then just talk to him. about anything.. that's not completely loserish of you. :] |

Wait, do you even KNOW this guy? You just saw him across the cafeteria and found him attractive and now you're trying to figure out how to talk to him? Way to creep him out.
If you keep trying to get his attention when you really don't have any basis to form even an "acquaintance" relationship... you'll probably end up scaring him. |
