I'm a tool. I just realized that the guy that dies in the hospital when Sarah (Jack's ex-wife) is brought into the hospital (when he does the spinal surgery on her) was Shannon's dad.

Durrrh.

First episode in season 2. In Jack's flashback it cuts to a quasi- "ER" shot and Sarah is wheeled in. As he starts examining her, another man is brought into the ER and the nurse says, "Mr. Rutherford's heart stopped beating." Or something like that.

Later on in Season 2, the episode that Shannon dies in, she also has a flashback that has her in the hospital. A doctor comes out and says (to her stepmother), I'm sorry Mrs. Rutherford. There was an accident and your husband didn't make it.

I queued the commentary on that episode (I sooo love the DVDs) and lo and behold, it is Shannon's father.

Regarding last night's eppie - WHOA! I'll hold off on the details until James gets a chance to watch it... but WHOA. Friggin SUN! (No, she didn't die, but there was quite a bit of revelation about her character last night). OHHHH and what Ben (aka "Henry") revealed to Jack. HOLY FRIGGIN CRAP.

Definitely! I adore the writers (and directors, and cast) of Lost. Everything is top notch and so far there really isn't a weak link.

Oh and there's a HUGE debate going on about who did "the pushing," if you catch my drift. Personally, my finger is pointing to Sun. ;) Sun, by the way is becoming so much more of an interesting and compelling character since the show's first season.

Now DES TIME PLEASE!!!!!!!!! Pretty please? :)

Little Sun is a Big Brat.

Alright, 2nd episode has my favorite moment from this season so far: Kate and Sawyer. I smiled pretty hard.

Bleh. I love Kate, I love Sawyer, I hate them together. :P

They had some great dialogue though. Then again, Sawyer always has the best insults.

Kristina - The pushing of Sun's teacher/secret lover. Some say he jumped, but I think Sun did it. Part of the reason I think this is because when she was in the boat that lady said, "Sun, you're not a killer," and she had a way strange look on her face.

I can't decide between Jate and Swate. cry.gif

And whoa, I didn't even think of her pushing him, but it seemed like she really loved her secret lover though.

How? it is such a more interesting connection than Jack and Kate. Jack and Kate just seem like the convienent, boring, predictable, and superficial couple. Sawyer and Kate have that perfect amount of spice, mystery, conflict, and controversy. They're wonderful together. Plus, they're both hard asses. Cooooome on!!!

I have the exact opposite regard for them. To me, Skate is the predictable, two bad peas in a pod scenario.

Plus, my GAWD the tension Jate had when they were caught in that net trap of the French Woman's.

What's sort of interesting to me, as a viewer is that I thought that Sayid might have been part of the triangle after the first few episodes.

I have weird shipper thoughts though. I wouldn't be surprised to see some slash fan fic out there involving Michael and Jin. thumbsup.gif whistling.gif

Eh, I actually think it might just be because I like Sawyer so much more than Jack. That's my prejudice at work there. I just like Sawyer as a gaaaiiii that much more. Jack, I have such little sympathy for at the moment. On the other hand, I have a great deal of sympathy and empathy for Sawyer. So, I guess I really want to see him get the girl over that Medical-Degree-having-Prick.

Hmm, this deserves further meditation. Lost, ha!

Hey, I adore the shirtless poster boy of Lost, but still.

The guy I'm having the empathy for is Chawwwlie. Not only was his father an abusive ass, his brother was also an abusive ass who took his damn piano (*sniff*) but he's putting up with that dipshit Claire.

Actually, I like Claire now for some reason. ermm.gif

I like Chairly as well... (almost as much as i like combining the names of characters. Bernose!)

but no, im with nate, i cant sympathise with jate because i cant stand jack. he is a psycho loon, and that is the end of it. the relationship between swate is more belieable, and more interesting. let jack burn.

WOAH. Way trippy episode last night.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE! Looking great as usual. Although, you think they might have done something a little better with his hair. ;) I love how he was John's spiritual guide, so to speak, though. Very effective. That whole airport sequence was so well filmed, especially for TV.

Um... so Des. Psychic much? Or what? Not sure about that since they didn't give us much of him other than some lovely shots of him wearing nothing but Hurley's rather large tie-dye t-shirt that clung to Des' legs. Personally, I'm thinking they should have made the shirt shorter. But I digress.

OH and new bare chest alert! Locke has finally taken his shirt off. Kudos, man. thumbsup.gif

Some other stuff - Eko's alive (thankfully) and Chawwwlie is still a smart ass. throb.gif

Promos for next week seem to indicate a Sawyer episode.

I found episode three quite useless.
But.. Boone was excellent. Much missed, he was.

Anyway, what do you reckon will happen next?

P.S.:Charlie rocks my socks. As much as a TV star can :P
