Duplicate the flower two times (+ the original, making three flower layers). Each layer has a different width on the stroke. Make the biggest one on the bottom.

uhmm, first you do your text thingy. then you duplicate it. then change the original copy to a bigger size stroke. and voila (=

^ That won't work.
Layer #3- Stroke: Size 3 Layer #2- Stroke: Size 6 Layer #1- Stroke: Size 9 It would have to look like that in the layers pallete. Bigger (stroked) layer on bottom, and smallest on top. |

There's a simpler way of doing so.
Make a selection out of the flower and expand it. Fill in the expanded selection on a new layer & repeat. Voila! You could change the expansion pixels to 3 or 5 or whatever. ----------edit-------- By the way, this method is what you use when you don't have PS and resort to selections like me T.T |
