eat all ur nutrients and vitamins and stuff! yea, and drink water too.

ok i just graduated from cosmetology so i know what to do. you should trim your end every 4-6 weeks, use a heat protectant before you blowdry and style. i hope this helps.

its not shampoo that gives you split ends. its caused by damage from blowdryers, straighteners and curling irons.

and what kind of special thing would that be????

if your hair tends to dry out easily you should try a deep conditioning treatment or a hot oil treatment, it works everytime.

I think maybe it's your shampoo. I use Pantene Pro V conditioner and shampoo and my hair hasn't split at all this year.

straigthing or curling your hair with those hot thingies
cause your hair to spilt.
..jux cut your hair.. and condition it right.

i have some too.. cuz of straigthing my hair..
thats why i short hair.. its easy to takcare of then
long hair.

straighting and stuff.. also cause your hair to dry.
and make it look blah.. its good to use some good
products to soft'n your hair

my hair used to be to the top of my butt, and i had split ends that would split and split. gah, it was crazy. haha, and when i'd get bored in class, i'd nip the off with my teeth and split them. yep... lol, but anywho, after i donated my hair (i chopped off 14 inches) i don't have so many split ends now... and i hear using a hot oil treatment helps seal the ends. so yeah, try alberto VO5 or something. ^_^

best advice i can give is use scrunchies without that metal thing in the middle... those can do some damage...

I don't get split ends, but I don't think it's the shampoo and conditioner you're using. I use Tressemme and I don't get it. Talk to a local hair stylist. Maybe they can help. happy.gif

wut are split ends? err.. i don't think i have any, probably becuz i hav short hair. =P umm if cutting yur hair isn't any use, then i guess switch shampoos/conditioners like everyone else is saying. if that doesn't work, then go talk to a hair stylist or something. i heard that overconditioning causes them too. ehh.. gl tho (=

i've never had split ends...checked many many times...
and i have long hair...and i don't even remember when was the last time i had a hair cut.... blink.gif i just use whatever shampoo and conditioner is around...no matter what...my hair is still shiny and dead straight....weird

but i heard that if you put more conditioner on ur ends...it might help protect them...or is it that your hair loses it's inner moisture too quickly? mebbe you should stop dyeing ur hair or straightening it or whatever...cuz it takes out the moisture...or try those hair cream that you put on ur hair and leave for awhile and wash off...anyways gd luck..
