Why am I seeing so many layouts like that?

Anyway, it's nice, I like it, but a few pointers:

1. Don't move the ad, I know that it's still there, but rules say that you may not move it any way.
2. Stick to one or two fonts.
3. Many things are mis-aligned: the comments, slide, and friend space are all too far to the left.

Okay, that seemed harsh (eh, not really, but I guess), but I do like some parts. You chose great colors and kept the layout relatively simple. Overall, good job. (:

Although...

The colors are great. Nice organization look.
I don't see any problems with misalign DIV's.

Theres always alot of layouts on a certain thing. If you go check out peoples domains , etc you will see one concept A LOT more than you would on myspace...


I think its great, lovely colors. Just hiding the ad gets your profile deleted so keep that in mind.

thanks you guys. you all are right about that kinda layout. it is getting played out but i couldn't think of anything. maybe i'm not the most creative huh? but yeah, i didn't wanna hide the ad but i kinda had to get the layout to look right.

The color is nice, although theres similar layouts I've seen like this. I suppose what you guys are using are like brushes?

The whole ad thing bugs me since it is against the rules and you have a high chance of getting deleted -shrugs- but its a chance your willing to take then fine be it.

Comments are misaligned too, and perhaps hide the original myspace layout or make it so you can stroll down so you can see the rest of the myspace -shrugs- at the moment it looks like it needs some major work.

what they said. it seems a little too simple, but clean. and don't view the source then copy and paste the code for the advertisements, i don't know where it is but we do have a code to hide everything else but the ads.. that's what you'll need; then position the div lower.

I honestly like it. It's mis-aligned[maybe it depends on the computer?], but the colors are nice. Maybe add a little more...stuff to it. It's nice though ^-^

I agree with what's already been said. If you move the layout down it will still look fine with the ad.
Im not a huge fan of how the friends have been done. The scrolling pictures cover up the text that says they're your top friends. Kind of defeats the purpose of the text.
A few suggestions would be center the layout, and add css to change the scrollbars.
Maybe add a comment box?

I think its great, a little too much on the blue, but the overall theme is nice. Id give it a B+
