Disney Song Remakes, yay or nay? |

So I searched though the topics and this didn't come up, but if there is something that I didn't see then close it.
What do you think of all these remakes of the disney songs like the remake of "kiss the girl" with Ashley Tisdale, "You'll be in my Heart" by Usher and so on. Think they are better than the originals or not? or do you like both but differently? if you do like some which ones do you think are good? |

You can't beat the originals, but some of the remakes are pretty good. They're both unique in their own way.

Depends on who's singing it. I have Disney Mania 2 for some reason.
 I heard the Ashley Tisdale song earlier.. Horrible. Some are kinda good, but some should just stop singing. Raven - Under the Sea Should be thrown underwater and never be uncovered again. |

As a general rule, I'm not too happy with them. Sometimes, artists surprise me and bring a whole new life to the song, but nine times of out ten it's just not the same.

It depends. For example, Jump 5 - Beauty and the beast it was a good one. But the original is good too.

examples of good ones: - beauty & the beast - jump 5 - you`ll be in my heart - usher - colors of the wind - ashanti - reflection - christina aguilera - i won`t say i`m in love - the cheetah girls - zip-a-dee-doo-dah - aly & aj - who`s afraid of the big bad wolf - B5 - hawaiian roller coaster ride - jump 5 bad ones: - i just can`t wait to be king - aaron carter - kiss the girl - ashley tisdale - the siamese cat song - hilary duff & haylie duff - any remake by raven symone - part of your world - jessica simpson |

I like remakes as much as I like originals.. as long as they're not sang by Raven.

I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO LIKED THE REMAKE BY ASHLEY TISDALE?!?!
The guy in that video is HOT. But I like this remake! Raven should have her voice box taken out of her. She cna't sing if it saved her life. |

both the guys on the kiss the girl movie were hot to me =] hahaha but i'm not really sure if i truely like the remake of kiss the girl... i have it in my head though and it won't get out! haha

Hmm. I do like remakes. Some are really good. You'll Be In My Heart by Usher wasn't bad, but Teddy Geiger did it SO much better. I love him ^_^
Also, Chris Trousdale and... Nikki Clearly or something like that, I think... remade You're The One That I Want from Grease. Honestly, it wasn't too bad, but it was a WHOLE other feel to it. It was like... Dance/technoish, but I didn't think it was too bad. I agree with whoever said Superstitious by Raven wasn't bad. Otherwise... Eh. I also do like Ashley's Kiss The Girl, and Aaron Carter's I Just Can't Wait To Be King. I didn't think it was all that bad. And Jesse McCartney did quite a few remakes, and they were all amazing. But, from Jesse, who would expect anything else? Lol. |
