Well, being that I'm on a macbook, I don't have a "delete" button, but if I'm at the end of a word and hit option+backspace(which actually SAYS delete), it gets rid of the whole word.. But yeah, I just do backspace.

Regular Mac keyboards have a delete button (the shape with the x in it), but the laptops don't.

Backspace.
Why? It's sorta part of the main part of the keyboard.. Delete is in its own little box.

um. backspace. if you delete something, you have to press that left-arrow button then delete, because delete erases what's in front of it while backspace deletes what you just wrote.

so why make more trouble for yourself?

Isn't the key immediately to the right of +/= marked delete?

Backspace all the way.

That and enter.

Whuuh? My 'delete' button doesn't delete the words.

Or are you talking about after highlighting everything ?
Lol. K, either way, I use the backspace button. I've never been taught to use the delete button *I've never even had computer classes*

I never pay attention to the delete button.

yea it is but the "delete" button on a mac deletes like the backspace button on a pc, it dosen't delete in the same direction as the delete button on a pc. i can't really explain it. just try it. lol

Oh, I'm well aware of what it does. I'm just wondering why she said she doesn't have one. I mean, it's right there. wink.gif

I forgot about that button, sadly enough. It's so far away, I would actually have to move my whole hand.
