So i had limewire installed on my comp and it bugged. Some java issue that kept poppin up. So you know that window that comes up when you press ctrl+alt+del yeah that wont come up anymore so i cant see anything that i may need to close ever since limewire bugged. I uninstalled limewire and still that window wont come up. Dont wanna restore my comp cause for some reason all my restore points are gone.

Try scanning your computer for viruses and spyware, if you didn't already. It could just need a good scan through Ad-Aware to be fixed.

Uninstall it. Use Kazaa.

Do you have trouble unstalling it?

I've never had a problem with Limewire. I have had many issues with Kazaa though.

What you might want to do is just uninstall and reinstall (which has probably already been mentioned).

Nevermind, I just read that you've uninstalled it.

Have you tried removing Java by using the "Add or Remove Programs" screen (if it's visible there)?

The same kind of thing happened to me about a year ago with Kazaa. I dumped everything and completely re-installed Windows... and it worked.

So if system restore or anything like that doesnt work, give it a try. flowers.gif

Maybe.. try updating to version 4.12.6?

Try looking through the support pages too.

I dont know how Kazaa is now, but its killed my computer on more than one occasion. I've had better luck with Limewire and Bittorrents.

Here's a thought; why not buy for downloaded songs? Try iTunes or even WALMART MUSIC! 88 cents a song at walmart (wma format) and 99 cents at itunes (mp3 (better) format)

These type of downloaders won't give you any problems, while shareware may plug viruses or in your case, bugs.
