I miss everything about the Philippines. I miss my family the most. My family's dialect. I miss the feeling of just being there--the weather, even though it can feel sticky. Riding the jeepneys with the wind blowing in your face was cool. Looking up at the stars at night is beautiful because I don't get that chance often. There were so many that you could actually see, unlike over here. Going to the "disco" haha. I miss the food.

What sucked was whenever my family and I go to the PI, it's because of a family emergency. I've never been to the PI just for vacation. Like a family member was always sick, or a funeral cry.gif . I really miss it over there. It was relaxing being with the ones I loved. I felt free over there.

Gosh. I was just thinking about food in my last post. What can I say? I was hungry.

Anyway. I miss Isabela, where my family is from. The people in my barangay were so close to one another. I miss the closeness. The sense of community& such. And, as silly as this sounds, I miss the weather. People complain about it, but I miss it. I loved the fact that when it rained, it was still humid. Gah. I miss the Philippines. So, so bad.

^Seriously. It's always just a matter of where in the Philippines.

CHOWWWW KIIIIIIING. Does anyone have a Seafood City near you? When the one near my house opened, I swear EVERY FILIPINO IN THE STATE was there. There wasn't a way to walk, you just let yourself be pushed to the section you want to be in.

Don't feel out of place, I am the most white-washed Filipino out there. Seriously.
