if you have a date for homecoming/prom, do you typically match each other? like for example, if you're wearing a red dress does your date wear a red tie or something like that? how many people do you know actually do this?

and for corsages/boutonneires, do they have to match each other as well? or if you get a blue dress, does it have to be a blue flower or can it be some other color? haha, yeah. i just want to know. shifty.gif

well i wouldn't really know, but i knew some people who had a couples match. like the guy would wear a black tuxedo with cream colored shirt and the girl just wore a cream colored dress. and then the corsage/boutonneires would just be cream colored as well.

i don't really think it matters, it's just more of a preference

^yeah, it's not a bad thing to do either, it doesn't matter much. For semi-formal or formal dresses, it's nice to match, especially if you're taking picture. If there are pictures involved, then matching, around here, is basically a must. But if not, either is fine.
