I read this book called 'Nothing but the truth, and a few white lies' and in the book there's this girl that's part Taiwanese & White because her mom married a white guy. Anyhow, the girl didn't like that she was half n' half cuz she felt that she wasn't fully a part of anything. Her friend in the book said that she was crazy because hapas are very pretty/exotic looking and that she has nothing to worry about.
Are there any 'hapas' here that feel the same way? Or feel that it's better being half n' half? Or get complimented on your looks or whatnot? I'm just asking because I've seen some models that are half n' half and they're really pretty.  Just curious, that's all.

I've wished I was mixed before, particularly Asian & white. I know tons of people who are mixed with those two, and they're always hot, some of the most attractive people I've ever seen.

i'm mixed. but not asian and white i'm chinese and filipino and i'm mistaken for many diffrent ethnicities, and all of the guys i have dated and been especially attracted to are mixed with asian and white and i love it and they are gorgeous and i like being mixed and i
 mixed guys always have and always will haha  and i want to marry a mixed guy and have mixed pretty little babies hahaha

Pshhh. I'm Chinese and 1/16 Taiwanese. Doesn't make a difference..
But then, it's only 1/16 and Taiwanese, so it shouldn't make that much of a difference in the first place.

Um, I suppose the book could be a teenage thing? I mean, the girl in it was a teenager, but yeah. Oh, and I'm sorry I didn't put it in the right place.. I really had no idea where to put it and so I just posted this in the Girl's Locker..
 But yeah, I guess can say that everyone thinks hapas are hot. I always wanted to be mixed before, too. Only cuz I wanted to be able to speak like 3 different languages, but yeah.. I have a different view on being mixed, now.

haha no, actually, i rather like being mixed.
my mommy's full Asian (Chinese) and my daddy's full white/European (German, Italian, British, Irish, Welsh and a little Native American). i just like having a lot of different nationalities in me, i guess. |

Yeah, I'm mixed and I like it...makes me different. I'm Spanish, Filipino, Chinese, Hawaiian (mostly Spanish, then Filipino, etc.) so yeah...my friends call me exotic.

I'm mostly hispanic but I have a little asian in me.
People usually think i'm just asian just because of my eyes.. but I don't see where they're comming from with that saying..  so yeah, sometimes it bugs me, sometimes it doesn't. |
