okay, well on photoshop I'd like to be able to make an image and then if i didn't finish it; save it and come back to work on it later will all the layers still and not merged.

when i save my images as .gifs it makes me "flatten" (merge)
them or it won't save

could i go back and work on it if they were a different format?
i don't like jpgs though because they always look bad quality
or is there a way i could save it as a gif but not have to flatten it?

sorry if this doesn't go here.

save it as a .psd i think they have those in photoshop.

you can upload psds and if you still want layers then you can't upload it anywhere because you're not really saving the image... if you want the layers to be able to merge you have to keep it on psd but you can't upload it anywhere (:

why do you need to upload it if your working on it.



you could like save two copys of it save one as a .png and one as a .psd

ohhhhhhh okay sorry.
so basically save it as .psd and then when im done completely save it as a gif or whatever and then i can upload it.

no like if you want to upload it while your working on it save one copy as a png and one as a psd so you can upload the png and still work on the psd.
