i heard a lot about the manga but i never tried it out. i just watched all the current episodes on youtube and i thought it was great! i'm thinking of reading the manga but i think the anime's enough for now. hmm.

I love reading Nana Because it diffinatly beats reading the other Shojos which for some reason annoy me.

woooooo ok this movie sounds so interesting!!!!! it really does. cause the other nana with the happy family girl something like that o_o;; shes very smily girl and the other jrocker nana girl is like quiet..... i like that kind of anime. yeah they do have different personality. i like that!!!! omg i cant wait for the anime!! ok im gona watch the movie of NANO right now!!! =)

I love this story, but I think I ruined it for myself. I subscribed to ShojoBeat because NANA was my favority series that they were featuring. Well, a chapter once a month wasn't enough for me, so I went looking for scans. You know what? I found them. I read so far past what's been put out by SB that I don't really have much interest in it anymore. IT JUST TAKES TOO LONG TO COME OUT! I love the story, but I guess I'll just have to wait until more gets translated/scanlated/whatever.

*sigh* Why do I do this to myself?

i love nana! i was introduced to it from shojo beat, but went ahead and read scanlations online. the series definitely gets more interesting and dramatic later on... thumbsup.gif

I just started watching the anime a short while ago as well. It is really good!!

The art was just as awesome when compared with the manga. Everyone looked very similar, except for Nobu. Nobu looked a little weird. ^_^;; But he's still cute!

Nobu and Shin are my favorite. :] They're so sweet. <3 I've only see like, 7 episodes so far though. haha :P

Eeek and regarding the scanlations, ACK I'm still mad about the whole Takumi thing. I wanted Nana and Nobu to get together. Maybe they will in the end? Who knows.. whistling.gif

The more I watch (and read), the more torn I am. This is such a gripping story. I have no idea how this is going to end!!

btw, I do not like Miu, or Reira and Shin, or Nobu and his girlfriend. I guess I like the idea of Nana, Hachi, and the bands getting together like one huge family. Yeah, I know. Highly unlikely.

I read the first four volumes of Nana at Barnes and Noble last Friday and would've read the fifth, but it was getting late and I had to go home. It's awesome! Ditto mishyerr about hating Shoji. He's such a bum. stubborn.gif Poor Hachi.

To the posts about the anime and movie being rated R: Well, the manga has a lot of drinking and some nude scenes in it, so the rating is understandable.

Yeah, I know! I remember when Junko says to Hachi that she should be more considerate of Shoji because "he's a keeper," and then Shoji and Sachiko go and... -_-

Volume 6 isn't out yet.

I was reading book one today, and I realized...
NANA LOOKED A LOT LIKE SACHIKO WHEN SHE FIRST MET SHOJI! Isn't that weird? Maybe he likes short-haired girls. hmmm.

Takumi is so sexy.

Did you know they put a lot of Nana in ShojoJump? I was reading that today.. but it was a bit further ahead than book 5, so I was confused. :(

I just read volume 10 of NANA yesterday. Hachi is so adorable in the first movie; I love Aoi Miyazaki. happy.gif Mika Nakashima's fabulous as Nana.

This manga is unlike any other series I've ever read, and the only music manga that has ever truly interested me. I love Ai Yazawa for this.

I thought Mika kinda messed up on playing Nana. Nana was supposed to be energetic and aggressive. But she played her like a pot head :\.

the first hachi is so cute. The second one is meh.

Btw i just finished chapter 69. Who else wants to discuss it with me?
