The story..
Me and my first love broke up about 2 months ago. I still have feelings for him, although it's not nearly as much as it used to be. I recently started dating. I'm currently dating a boy I like quite a bit, but I feel uncomfortable..as if I'm not ready for this. At least, not yet. I was thinking about "ending" it or at least going on a break..should I? Thanks.. =] |

I personally think you should take a break from it all. But then again people deal with break-ups differently. I'd rather just take a break from boys and just hang with the friends and enjoy the other things in life, ya know?

Don't get in a relationships with someone if you still have feelings for a former lover. In a way your kind of using them to get over the last person...How would you feel if you were being used? Pretty much all you need to do is put yourself in the position of the new person and how your treating them, and if your having a feelings for someone else. How would you feel if you really liked someone and then to find out they like someone else?

Why should you let us tell you what to do? =P
Ok. You're obviously unsure and insecure. So I would suggest backing off for a little bit. Going out with somebody while having feelings for somebody else is a bad idea. I did that last summer and it didn't lead anywhere. So take time to get over it, and voila. |

Like Josh would say, if your young. Then you should be having the time of your life and just have some fun and date around and see what you like and what you don't.

well if you're feeling uncomfortable because you just recently got out of a relationship that you're not quite over yet, make sure your boyfriend now knows this. i'm sure it won't change a lot seeing as you just started dating and you both like each other. just make sure he knows what you've been through. he should understand.

Yeah, um.. you don't sound ready. I mean, cmon you said yourself you still had feelings for the guy. Wait until your feelings reside... then go back to dating.

dont let the feeling of your ex interfier with your relationship.. there is a reason why hes called your ex. and theres a reason why your in a new relationship.... just give it time.

I think if you're having to ask someone else, you're not ready. If you feel uncomfortable, that's a telltale sign right there. Go on break for a bit, and when you feel you're ready, go for it.

I KNOW WHAT THIS FEELS LIKE..So you still have feelings for your ex but you find the other boy cute too. It's obvious that you still haven't gonne off him. What I suggest you is to tell the other guy that you'd like to get to know him as a friend.
![]() Whatever you do, don't stress yourself. U shouldn't hurry a new relationship. ![]() |
