What is the most boring, most time consuming, and pointless activity you have undergone?

For me, it was this Christian Camp.
Boring stuff, yessir.

But you get something out of staying in school unless you're ignorant of all things.

Sitting through my friends Graduation was pretty boring.

Ah, waited in a doctors office for 6 hours once.
Yes, they were 6 hours behind schedule.
He was supposed to be some great doctor in PA, yah okay.
Time just crawled by then.

Doing around 4 hours of Mandarin homework (namely, Find the Chinese, where they give you some English translations of the textbook and you have to go and "find the Chinese" of it, write it out, and also the Pinyin). That stuff basically has no educational content whatsoever.

What'd you do at the Christian Camp?
It sounds fun to me.

It depends on what you get out of it. When I went, I was already transitioning out of the whole christianity thing and coming with my own theology, so it was a huge waste of my time.
And it is fun for certain people, including yourself, so if you think you'll get something out of it, go for it!

The freshman, sophomore, and juniors are testing right now, but my retarded school went out of their way to ensure that seniors couldn't skip, so I am literally wasting time by sitting in homeroom right now. It's so f**king hypocritcal of them; there's no point to this.. but I could rant on.

Testing for Microsoft Office skills. The Excel and Word questions are insulting and there were like, 100 questions (tasks) for each. Access was only slightly less boring in that I forgot about a couple of things regarding Forms.

Dude, my high school let us leave. In Texas it was called TAKS testing.. but yeah, same concept - 9th-11th had to test and seniors were exempt. We just got to go home. mellow.gif

Usually it's the first 2 or three period, so my mom'll let us sleep in, so this was just ridiculous. We'd actually benefit from the extra sleep!

Oh yes, those state standardized testing days.
Those are absolutely boring and time consuming.
