let's keep the rules in mind.

this is all about having fun and meeting people... getting to know each other better and letting loose a little... this is the spirit of the lounge!!!

to be married you must post an ad if you wanna be married.. should they accept (which most of them do), you can make a honeymoon thread or etc. You must include on your sig that you and your spouse are married. same works with adoptions and family trees.

rules:

1. Do NOT spam.
2. Please don't turn a honeymoon thread into a role play. [all forums are pg 13 PLEASE]
3. Nothing else is allowed in here besides, honeymoons, adoption topics, proposals, and single ads.

faqs:

Question: Can I marry someone if they divorced?
Answer: It's up to the person you're proposing to.

Question: May I marry another person and have two wives/husbands?
Answer: No, you may not. This can bring hatred towards the forums easily.

Question: How do I divorce?
Answer: Simply PM (Private Message) your spouse and tell them (in a polite way), you don't want to marry them anymore. Remove anything that has to do with you two being together on your sig.

Question: What's the point of making this anyway?
Answer: We want members to get to know each other better and get along.

Question: What if I like this person but they're already married?
Answer: Two words, tough luck.

i realize an earlier topic just like this one was closed, but you know what? our parade is on again. please don't close this topic unless there is a really good reason... and if so, please post it.  after all, isn't marriage supposed to be forever?  happy.gif

congrats to the first marriage - dukesoccer07 and NicolynnCat

everyone thanks TKO for the idea!!! woooo! [applause all around]

QUOTE
krnxswat: anyways, i was actually thinking of reopening the thread
krnxswat: and i understand where you're coming from
harrowingreverie: i just didn't want to bother you with another cumbersome report or some such nonsense
krnxswat: which thread do you want me to reopen?
harrowingreverie: it doesn't matter... i was just letting you know that i thought it was kinda out of hand... you can re-open the second one if you're going to re-open one because i think the "rules" are better stated
krnxswat: mm done
harrowingreverie: and thank you for listening to me gripe... twice today
krnxswat: oh, no
krnxswat: anytime =)
harrowingreverie: :-) you definitely rock
krnxswat: if there's any other problems/concerns, just give me a heads up
krnxswat: and i'll see what i can do
harrowingreverie: okay thank you so much!
krnxswat: anytime =)

so i think we obviously know who is the best.

oh another rule. you cannot marry of the same sex aKa gay/lesbo marriage. and tofu i apologize (it's in the PM) and the guys or girls may ask, but when u are proposing, give a day to say i do because someone might wanna object. I wanted to object to duke and nicolyn's marriage but it was a
"secret" marriage. but it's remember the rule, u cannot have 2 wives/husbands. you may adopt someone but they must accept.

yd u want to object to Duke and mine marriage?

uh-huh, becuz u looked real hot! lolx

QUOTE
Why cant there be gay/lesbian relationships? It's not right to discriminate. And why not 2 or 3 husbands/wives? It's a culture in some countries.

it causes problems easily. u have 2 girls let's say and they fight over the husband. this ending a friendship.

why can't we have homosexual marriages? i personally don't have that kind of lifestyle or beliefs, but i know there are some bisexual individuals in these forums that we don't want to offend.

That worked fairly well

you seem to want to control this whole thing and mold it into your own little contest where everybody's okay. so what if they have problems? let them deal with it. it'd be hell of a lot more fun to watch than the conventional guy-girl marriages.
