also what is the stupidest steryotype someone gave you being serious like if a person went up to a gothic person and was like your a prep lol! that would be stupid!

The dumbest stereotype? Well, they're all dumb. One my grandfather used to complain about a lot is whenever he would say that he was Spanish, people would say, "oh, you don't look Mexican." I can completely relate now, because when I tell people that I'm half Israeli and half Spanish people often say the same thing, "You don't look Mexican at all."

Not to hijack the topic...but aren't you guys who are saying "Emo kids who do such and such aren't emo, they're just posers", just contributing to the Stereotype?

I'm not saying anyone used those words exactly, but when you say that Emo is a fad and that people who dress a certain way and call themselves Emo, aren't; then aren't you kind of adding to the Stereotype that all Emo kids are fakes? Because that's a major Stereotype too, and the one I hate the most.

btw-I'm not Emo, but that's just something I didn't understand.

Hmm...I'm reading all the asian kids talking about being asian and being expected to be smart, try telling people you are black or half black and then having them assume you have bad credit, date thugs, steal, rob, live in the hood, have been shot at, hang out with rappers, smoke weed, and can't spell or speak proper english, and that you overall are a slacker, a moron, and don't contribute to society. And that you assume everything others say is racist. I'd much rather have people want me to fix their computer and give them cheat codes to video games.

Or how about that people who are pretty and dress well and wear makeup and things only think about themselves and looking good, and don't have a brain in their head and cant do anything but shop. Heaven forbid a pretty girl have a higher level iq and can learn to do things like code a website and can read chapter books with ease and can actually carry on a conversation about something other than lip gloss.

Or how because you are a woman, you are completly inept when it comes to hooking up electronics, fixing cars, playing video games, and putting together computers. and men who have no clue what they are doing get offended when you know more than they do about these subjects.

Or how when you tell black people that you are half black and half white, they automattically assume you think you are too good to date a black guy.

Or that left-handed people have horrible handwriting.

Or if you wear high heel shoes you must be slutty.

Or that if you arent in college you aren't going to amount to anything but a slacker and probably a homeless person.

Yeah I deal with a lot of very stupid stereotypes. I break the mold in so many ways, but people never give me a chance to be unique. I hate all stereotypes. but there are definately some I would rather have than others. I wish peple looked at me and assumed I was smart instead of thinking I was a vapid, superficial individual.
