Hmm. It all depends. I have a few best friends that are guys, but I haven't had a crush on any of them. However, there's this guy I'm starting to get close to, and I like him.

It all depends. There's really no absolute answer.

Eh. Not really sure. Back then, when I talked to more guys than I do now ( all girls school hammer.gif ), I had guy friends who were more like "brothers" and guy friends who were the liking type. One of my friends who I considered more like a "brother" ended up having the biggest crush on me ever, and the entire class knew since everyone would come up to me and asked me if I liked him back....but I didn`t. shrug.gif But anyways, I have to say that some guys that were the "liking type" I had crushes on. And some, after I graduated, I realized that I liked. But it was too late laugh.gif Whatever. mellow.gif

I don't know if you always end up liking your best guy friend, but I'm pretty sure at one point or the other, you let yourself just wonder what it'd be like. I mean, if you guys work so well as friends, would it be better as bf/gf? But from there, I think it'd be pretty hard to give any solid stats on if girls always like their best friends.

well liking you best friend and going into a relationship with them is always good because you know everything about that person you know how to be normal and confortable around eachother the list goes on but if it were not work out then just pretend like nothing happened and just go with the flow but one advic never feel awkward or weird it will really spoil everything.

Speaking from experience, whenever I get close to a guy friend, I start to see just how good a boyfriend he'd make. This doesn't necessarily mean that I'll end up liking him. But I've liked a couple of my close guy friends before, but it didn't last very long as they all found girlfriends.

Right now...me and this close guy friend of mine are in the fuzzy region between "friends" and "more than friends". We're not exactly what you'd call dating....but we're not exactly what you'd call normal friend either. So the line is fuzzy for us. I think something might happen soon, and on the other hand, it might not.

So to answer your question, for most girls, at one point or another during the friendship, they will start liking their close guy friend. It may or may not last, and it may or may not blossom.

Ok having a bestfriend as a boyfriend is usually very enjoyable concerning the fact that you are already intrested in his everything. But be very cautious just as everything will be wonderful everything can be very unpleasent and you would really like to do everything to avoid that.So do what pleases you.

One thing about dating your best friend though- you know everything about them.
which can be both good and bead. Sure, you know exactly what to get then for their birthday, but you also know about his past. And it might not bother some people, but it bothers me, as I am currently dating one of my long time best friends. I've been there through everyone of his break ups and sometimes it'll bother me just because I know how into he was with this girl or how for so long he never got over that other girl. It can get to you sometimes.
