My school only has 2 choices for language—Spanish and French.
I'm taking Spanish but I HATE it.
I want to take Latin, but my school doesn't have it. sad.gif

I'd have to say Chinese because that's what I speak at home. Chinese Mandarin, actually.

It sounds pretty when people aren't yelling it.

Favorite to speak or learn?

I like French because it's just a beautiful language, really. Italian is also really romantic, though.

I'm currently teaching myself Italian, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. It's just so gorgeous, so romantic, and I find it fun.

I'm also learning Spanish in school which will be probably be really helpful in the future.

I'm also planning to take Latin next year because I find it so interesting how so many languages were derived from it.

And honestly, I have zero interest in learning any other languages. Well, okay, I might be a bit open to learning Hebrew, since I'm Jewish and already know the alphabet and pronunciation, plus I heard it's really easy.

Topics merged.

I want to learn Tagalog because my knowledge of Tagalog is not yet fulfilled, and it is my native language.

Me too! And this way, my parents can stop laughing at me when I "taglish." I also want to learn Chinese & Japanese just because they seem awesome.

I'd learn Japanese 'cause it's supposedly easier for Koreans to learn.

Wheee I'm taking both. _smile.gif I'd love to learn Japanese and Greek, though. I suppose I don't have a favorite language. They're all so unique and lovely in their own way.

Lmao, I know! Isn't it great?
And I'm part German too! That's why I wanted to learn it. *asks mom* She says I'm about 70-75% German. You can tell. I have the structured squareish chiseled chin and blonde hair and blue eyes, haha.

"Sie haben zwei vater?" asks "Do you have two fathers?" lol. It's sort of an inside joke... And my user name on Call of Duty Multiplayer.

^lmao. laugh.gif I love that. _smile.gif
Not all Germans are blonde hair and blue eyes though. My family's German, and they're the exact opposite.

I would love to learn more German. I'm only 1/2 German, but I have way too much pride in it. lol. I wish my school offered German as a class.
