I HATE having dress code!!!

I hate it because nowadys the fashions are halters, spagatti straps and tube tops, and you aren't allowed to wear those to school without a coverup which is a hassle. So it makes it hard looking for clothes i could wear to school that i like.

Arghhh. I'd KILL to be able to wear jeans to school, or normal clothes for that matter.

I go to a private school, so I have to wear a certain knee length skirt, school polo (sleeves come down to my elbows) with all 3 buttons buttoned, knee highs, and penny loafers.

No jewelry, dyed hair, and only 1 earring in each ear.

don`t care, just as long as the uniform isn`t so limited.
Like you can wear pants, accessories, etc.

Well, then it's a good thing you're going to school and not a fashion show...

Seriously, I don't think dress codes are that bad. Except for the school with crazy ones like color restriction... i mean, who does that?

Our dress code is that every shirt must have some sort of sleeve, no underwear showing, no middrift, shorts/skirts must come 4 inches above the knee, no torn jeans above the knee, no profanity on shirts, no visible facial piercings (ears are okay), no unnatural hair, no pajamas.

idk. some of it's annoying sometimes, but i don't think it's so bad. i always wear jeans and a t-shirt anyways, so whatever.

wow, actually, you guys have it pretty good.

Ours is a crazy dress code/uniform policy. White or red collar shirt, with black, khaki, or navy blue pants. Pants must be straight legged, males shirts must be tucked. No flip-flop or heels over 2 inches. No chains or chokers (for goths, i supposed)
-.-

it gets worst, the whole thing is 3 pages front and back.
but yeh...they said uniform doesnt descrimate between rich and poor &blahs.

right...there's walmart collar shirts, american eagle polo shirts, and aerapostale collar shirt.

as long as it doesn't get too restrictive.
