my parents are actually really cool about that..they usually invite him to go somewhere with us before i do..so hes pretty much part of the family. the only rule he really has is hes not allowed in my room with the door closed..but other then that they dont really care..

so basically, I'm supposed to be dating until after college. Let's just say that I started ever since 6th. My parents don't know about any one of them. The guy that I'm with now stops by my house every week to spend time with me before my parents get back from work. (and no kids, I'm staying booty-free until marriage. woot woot). my dad's a traditional asain. he's like u can have a crush but no dating its not even serious till ur in college (which btw i am in now). all honestly he never wanted me dating until college but that dind't happen lol...so far he's hated all of my ex's and has said to me "i'd like you to marry a chinese man not filipno just chinese." (i'm a chinese filipina btw) even my family wants me to marry a nice chinese man lol.
funny story..my grandma met my ex who at the time was my bf and escort for my colliton (sweet 16 for filipinos) and she told my nanny that she wants me to marry him because he's chinese and filipino hahaha. i died laughing .

my dad jokes a lot about this topic. He's big on hunting, so we have some deer heads mounted in my den...so when I bring a guy over for dinner....my dad brings them into the den to chat...and he makes sure they see the thing over the fireplace.....its this this empty plaque mounted on the wall that he made with a sign that says "boyfriend" on it. It's so embarrassing...but they all seem to get a kick out of it

When my boyfriend came to pick me up on our first date, as we were leaving, my dad said, "I'm not afraid to go to jail... again". It was SO funny.
(Sidenote - he's never really been to jail, but he definitely wouldn't hesitate to do any damage if anyone ever hurt me) My dad's becoming more laid back, though. He actually encourages us to go out on more dates
