i haven't really used a lotta bronzer before, does it give you a healthy sorta complexion? (e.g bright skin, "awake" look?) or does it just make you tan. eh. do you prefer it over blush?

Well when applied right bronzer and blush both look good.

Bronzer powder is used instead of face powder, it should be one to two shades darker than your natural skin tone (darker looks unnatural).

You dust it on your cheeks, tip of the chin, nose and forehead... and if you want to you can finish by "sweeping" the entire face (helps to even out the look).

Bronzer is usually laced with shimmer, which add luminosity to the face...

Blush, in my opinion, is more for shaping. You can use blush to give the illusion that you have cheekbones, it can add to the apple's of your cheeks... so that's why I think it's more for shaping.

i like bronzer better. since i have red undertones on my skin, blush just makes me look even more red and burnt. bronzer gives me a healthy bronze glow

That may be good for you. I depends on your type of skin. I like the color palletts better because they have different tones in them.

that looks like a good choice of bronzer. =)

i've heard recommendations on the dream mousse bronzer too though... but maybe it's best to stick to neutrogena, if you have sensitive skin it probably won't break you out.

I use bronzer.

But I read in ... Seventeen magazine, that you can brush blush on, then layer bronzer on top. To give a 'sunkissed look'.

Hum.

Bronzer never shows up on my skin unless you apply a whooole lot. ): But thta's okay, I don't wear makeup, but a good orange-y blush works well on certain occasions.

If the bronzer doesn't show up, maybe you need to try a different shade.
Bronzer should typically be a couple shades darker than your natural skin tone.

happy.gif oh yeah, one more thing, sometimes you can just double up your bronzer for a pretty eyeshadow when you're low on time

Both, I use bronzer then put a tiny bit of peachy blush on the apples of my cheeks.

I don't really think you could choose one over the other. They both do different things.
But I guess it would be like what do you like better, mascara or lip color?
Heh. Yeah. I don't really wear bronzer, but blush makes me look more alive, esspecially on those school days when I have to listen to speakers.
