I'm going to be an actor. I love acting. I'll probably do something with computers on the side, like Video Game design or Journalism.

SCAD is an awesome school. I have three teachers at my current school that rave about it all the time even though the actual city of Savanah isn't all that great (according to them).

Topics merged. I don't see why we needed the 'your future career' thread in the Lounge.

I would LOVE to be a pediatric cradiologist or oncologist. But I'm worried that I'm too lazy to get through the 8+ years of college. Plus, it takes alot of money and dedication. But, I would be doing something I love. Helping people.

Or... if the whole doctor thing didnt work out, i'd probably major in web design or something computer related.

Photography is my passion, but there's not a whole lot of options for a career. Plus, it doesnt exactly pay well.

I think it depends on who you work for..
Like say if you're independent, the pay would probably be pretty bad.
But then if you work for a powerful company like Samsung, the pay might actually be pretty good.

Eh I was never really good at numbers to begin with. I don't think I'd do too well in the business industry.

Being a photographer as a job is something like being an actor for a job. Only say 1 out of 500 actors hit it big. Similar thing with photographers.

If you do hit the jackpot though, yeah, you will get a lot of money.

Usually though, being a photographer doesn't pay that much.

I want to be a novelist. I've loved to write my whole life. My second choice would be a fashion designer/consultant, but writing is my first love.
