Popularity, in my honest opinion, is over-rated. I know many people, and I know not one single person that I do not get along with. However, that does not mean that I have many friends. In my world, I have my one best friend, two very close friends, friends, and then aquatints [the many people I just know yet get along with]. Hopefully the shed some light for you.

I think if you are ok w/ yourself, and you dont care if your popular, and you arent like nerdy w/ huge glassas and no social life at all, you are popular.
like, in my group of 5 friends, im popular, but not in my school. all that matters to me is wut my friends think. |

Just make friends with people you like, and people that like you. You don't really need to be doing things that aren't you, to get people to like you. It goes back to that whole 'You want friends that like you for who you are' thing. haha, yeah. So, really, popularity isn't that important to me. 'Cause this is how I see it. |

popularity is nice, but really unecessary. it doesn't bring happiness (not for long anyway). Cherish the friends that you have around you..the ones that you know you can count on no matter what.

there are two different kinds of popularities.. [size=1]the first kind ... is just the people who think they are soooo unbelievably cooler than everyone else...
but then again... there is another kind of popular... the good kind... my sister told me that in highschool.. (most of the time) all the girls and guys are popular because they are NICE to everyone else.. i didnt believe it.. but in most cases its true... you dont need to be popular..impress yourself with your abilities before befor you TRY to impress others..  |

How you VIEW popularity is whats imortant. If you view it as being a snobby girl with a posse with people cowering from you and you can boss em around, its not important, if you think its having great friends and lots of em, then its important.

I think that a lot of people would of course say, popularity is nothing to me. But in their minds, they're thinking, dang, I wanna be in the in crowd.
I guess, in some cases, I'm jealous of the "popular" girls even if they're overweight and some of them are really ugly, they do get all the guys. And stuff like that and they're not pushed around. I don't know, popularity isn't the most important thing in my life, like it's not my life goal to be popular, but sure, it's something that I want, but don't think about everyday...if you understand what I'm saying. |

As Janette says I am a nerd.Lol but okay in all seriousness I don't care. Sure there are cliques and I can be placed in popular but I don't care. It's all about going to school, saying hey and being around people you like. My sister is extremely popular and some of that rubs off on me. We are in the same friend circle. Anyway the point is that I don't care. And popularity isn't important. And the whole "If I was popular people would want to hand out with me" thing is crap. A lot of people think popular people are insensitive jerks. Stereotypes are never fun.

as long as i have my friends the popular people have a little "thing" where they give somebody an "ew" face for no reason, i think its stupid and really snobby. i dont want to be popular. the more popular you are, the more drama your in, the more fights you have, the more heartbreaks, and once your popular you get backstabbed by your "friends" and even losers. i really, dont care |
