HAHAHAHA. You are obviously tech-retarded.

The Zen you bought was obviously defective when made, creatives are top quality products. You just had the misfortune of getting a bad one. And you say the iPod is better? This is one case of a Zen breaking by dropping it. How many cases are there of iPods breaking by just dropping them? These things are prone to break.

Plus, thats your fault, your the one that dropped it. And never ever? I think your exagerating to some degree. Unless you threw it down a f**king manhole, you player should have been just fine.

I'd like a Creative Zen Vision:M

First of all, chill yo..

Yah, I guess it was a bad one. That sucks :( i had some tight music in there >_<
It slipped out of my hand, and it fell, never worked ever again..

Yeah they've tested the Nano by crushing it with a truck, the sound still worked, the screen didn't though...

Yes, that is true though. However. remember that the Nano uses FLASH Memory...

Actually, numerous independent tests have shown that they are fairly robust and durable.
Really? Can I see some of these tests?

I've seen those tests already. As much as I'd hate to say it, it's pretty much true. And for Flash memory, my iRiver Clix also uses Flash Memory, seems to run a lot faster than my H10. Aside from that I don't have to worry about a crash since it's flash memory, hard drive players are known to crash often.

This one says that they ran it over with a Volkswagen and not a truck. I can't find the other one shrug.gif

And that's a Nano, too. There are other iPods than just the Nano, and most of the higher-end ones are much more robust.

There's a good description of one such test in a book I have, but I'll have to wait until I go home to get it and quote it.

My Creative MuVo fell in the toilet while I was brushing my teeth and it still plays fine. Goes to show you how durable flash players are.

The Nano is very durable, but if I recall it was far more durable than the other iPod models

I have a NOMAD Zen Jukebox Xtra(etc etc) which has it's fair share of problems(This is about 1 1/2 years old), but all of them are minor and as far as audio playback goes, it has always been flawless. Also, it has been dropped from the height of my computer tower multiple times without running into any trouble, although the power connector has been shaken loose(Since after a few of these falls, the little power cord that could held on for it's life). People often comment that it is huge(Everyone who sees it), but it is small enough for me to reach all of the controls in one hand and fit in my pocket for use throughout the day. Also, the battery life is phenominal. Unfortunately, if I recall correctly, these are out of production.

The Zen Vision: M is actually now nearly selling as much as the iPod. I thought the Toshiba Gigabeat S was going to make it but turns out it didn't go too well.
