taekwondo, bamboostick technique type of thing.. forgot what it wa called.

taekwondo does help in u in street fights... only when keeping your distance, but if u guys are up in all yo faces, it doesn't make much of a difference

street smart is all you need .. some people who know karate, taekwondo, etc won't save you from getting your @$$ kicked lol .. sometimes it's a matter of learning to have fast reflexes and never letting your guard down ..

my best fighting style is .. busting out my gats and putting 9's in people's headhole!

oh no, another GaNgSta.. and i dont think BusTiN oUt GuNz counts as fighting.

there are many vulnerable spots in the human body. the temple and the nasion (summit of the nose) are very susceptibile vital spots. if struck with enough force, unconscioussness or even death can follow. the coccyx (tailbone) blow is fatal, if done with enough force. you can also try aiming for the abdomen, where a vital organ might be bruised enough for your attacker to .. stop attacking.

taekwondo doesnt work. judo doesnt work. karate doesnt work. kick boxing doesnt work. boxing ( might ) work. kung fu ( definatly ) doesnt work.

in plain, styles dont work on the street. people dont bow to you before they fight. they play cheap, they dont stick to certain rules. they beat you down, once your on the ground, sit on you, and then kick your a**.

Brazilian Jui Jitsu - Great ground fighting

Kickboxing - Great coordination for legs and elbows

Boxing - Great coordination for hands

And my favorite, street fighting. Body slamming my opponents onto concrete, yes yes that's my favorite.

Basically my street fightin is a mixture of the three with some wrestling moves.

Well, I studied Tae Kwon Do once, and Arnis (Filipino Martial Arts)... never really got to continue them unfortunately.

Oh well... I'm more of a street fighter anyways...

Well street fightin is only a desperate attack. If you don't know how to properly attack and defend, street fightin is going to be useless.

There's many differences in types of street fightin, someone can have 10 different techniques/styles and create a street fightin style out of them combined. Street fighting is just a type of style that has no specific form or style, it's either mixed or not mixed, if it's not mixed all you're doing is just throwin punches/kicks wildly and using a typical weapon such as a bat or a knife.

Umm i dont know what street fighting your talkin about but where i come from that karate stuff dont fly. You can eaither fight or your a lame who gets their ass beat all the time. Ive seen people are black belts in martial arts and still street fight because that stuff really doesnt work in my opinion in a real fight on the streets. I wish someone would come at me with some karate.

How about Jui Jitsu?...

And like I said street fightin is combining differen't fightin styles in one with cheap shots...

Nevermind, I've studied different martial arts and trust me gettin jumped by less than 6 people is now practice for me.

By the way, Karate is more self defense than offensive... if you didn't know that.

I'm not gonna lie, basically everyone in this conversation has come off as unbelievably pathetic.

I've gone through Air Force and Marine self defence, hand to hand, and CATM courses.

I've been getting in fights since I was 8.

If any of you are bored, come find me in Monterey -.-

We can have some fun of it...I have no one to spar with anyway.

I'd rather bloody something other than just my knuckles...

The heavy bags at the Medina gym would appreciate it too.

Seriously, if any of you are around and think you can pull it off, drop me a line.

I'm up for it.

If not, discontinue this conversation, because it is way way way beyond pathetic.

This isn't a topic that should ever be brought up -.-

This is just a area for people to brag, like, "I got a bigger scar than yours(I probably win that too),

Or,

My ***** is bigger than yours!

or,

I'm smarter than you!

Are you all in kindergarten?

I know this is the "Boy's" Lockerroom...

But do you have to act like little boys?

I seriously doubt the vast majority of you have ever been in a severe argument, let alone a fight.

If both people WALKED away from the fight, it wasn't a fight.

Sorry about that rant, it's just the huge amount of grammatical, factual, and spelling errors just made something in my brain break.

We are all now slightly dumber for reading this.

May God have mercy on your souls.
