I've never been on trl, but I have walked by the place a million times. And my friend and I were mentioned on it. Really funny story.
We were on our annual french trip to the city and we were having a lot of fun speaking random phrases to strangers. I have never really watched TRL, so I didn't know anyone on it. I said "Ou est-ce que le singe de danse? Est-ce que tu mange le singe? Tres bien." Which translates to Where is the dancing monkey? Do you eat the monkey? Very good." (Don't ask. It was funny in eigth grade) Apparently I had spoken to Damien, and my friends flipped out afterwards. On the way home we were watching it and he said something along the lines of "Yeah you can meet some crazy people in the city. Today some girl asked my if I eat monkey in french." |
