I'm just wondering if any one else have a dream catcher hung near their bed. And if they believe in the story behind it. I have two. A small one above my headboard, and a giant one hanging on my window.

Random topic much? xD

[Edit: Oh yeah, I just put them up cause they look nice. But I don't really believe in the stories behind it.]

Erm, they were pretty easy. I'm not sure how to start it anymore. But I had to do it for art class. We used cheap strings and such, not the usual ones for dreamcatchers. blink.gif

I only put them up because they're so beautiful and because I like the story behind them. I don't really believe in the story, but it's nice all the same.

-Nods- I agree. It is very beautiful.

& bballchick1, if you're so interested, I think you can find some instructions online on how to make them? xD All you really need is a circle thing to hold it, and some strings. o_o

Oh okay! Hehe. :] I noticed that not a lot of people are interested in dream catchers anyway. I don't think some people even know what it is. xD

Don't worry. A lot of people don't know about it! XD.gif

That's what it looks like!

Dream catchers are suppose to help us with dreams. It was told that the "web of life" would catch our good dreams and let it be a part of our lives. The bad dreams would go through the hole and rid of.

It doesn't really catch your dream.

I mean, don't you want your good dreams to come true?

I have a dream catcher! It's really cool, the story and everything. That's pretty cool that you know how to make them. I'm going to post a link on how to make them. Since this relates to the topic at hand, I won't consider it advertising:

Dream Catchers

You can always subsitute stuff, but that's pretty awesome! cool.gif

I remember when I was in Pre-K or something we made dream catchers out of paper plates and yarn. I wonder where mine went...
Anyways, no I don't have one and no I don't belive the stories, but they are beautiful.

One of my really old friends, her name was Ashley. Her grandma came over once, she lives far away I don't remember where exactly. But she came by when me and my sister were over at my friends house. And her grandma got us all to sit down at the kitchen table and we made our own dream catchers. I still have it. It hangs on my closet door knob. I don't really believe in the stories behind it. But I think they look neat most of the time.
