Im a major fan of Marilyn Manson, along with his band (if you cant already tell.)
I was just curious how many fans i can find on here.... i know it can be pretty hard even durring social situations to find someone who isnt going to stare at me while i wear one of their shirts.. and just glare.. so out of curosity (which, didnt it kill the cat?) i was wondering whos a fan, and who is going to tell me he ' had some ribs removed to sucks his own cock'.. or something to that nature.

So yea.. dont know where this topid will go.. if it will even go anywhere.

I've listened to his music for about 4 years now, and I can safely say that no one in the music industry today had a voice that works as well with the synthetic sound of the music as well as Marilyn Manson.

His voice works with his backdrops so well and it just sounds great.

Few of my personal favorites:

Sweet Dreams
Tainted Love
I Don't Like the Drugs (but the Drugs Like me)

Good to see someone who looks past idiotic rumors.

And for those of you that judge him, maybe you should read his autobiography. It might open your eyes to what a screwed up past he has and why he may seem a little eccentric to some of you.

Don't shun him because he lives his life in a different way -- that's his right. He isn't/hasn't/doesn't hurt anyone, he just has a style.

my friend went to one of his concerts in the 6th grade and sed he threw out a puppy in to the crowd and wudnt start the concert until they "tore it apart"...

Their style is extraordinary it's different and it stands out.
That's what I love best about them and him.

I agree with you. I respect him as a person, but I really haven't listened to his music much so I wouldn't know...

MM is groovy...I like his old stuff better tho... a bit of his new stuff is good. Saw him in concert last year...He shoved a microphone in a girls p**** and sang from it.. Wooo...Good concert.

i gotta say i love manson. he's one of my heros and one of the smartest people ever. i even like it when he's the antichrist because alot of christians give me a hard time and by merely wearing a manson shirt is an easy and fun way to scare them into not messing with me. and i love his interview in bowling for columbine. i'm not %100 sure how it went but the best part was the last 2 lines:

This mad man has degrated music and the well known fate of the youth, infact his perspectives on things are just totally off and just sick. Out there marilyn manson isn't the only person people can listen to, but there are other bands such has delirious?, thats an awesome christian band who has made such great songs such as my glorious, i could sing of your love forever, and take me away.

So my challenge to those christians in this forum, is that you would make a stand and just stand out against marilyn manson's music, and proclaim to the world that we will not stand for this anymore and to convert people who listen to marilyn manson to just stop and show them the Lord. For the youth of this nation has more power than we could ever speak of, we have the power to stop things we have the power to make things grow. what will be your choice? for as a follower of God i will choose to stop this madness and try to bring him down. For this man has corrupted your minds, now let us walk with God and stop listenning to him. For those who are christian and listen to marilyn manson, please stop, pray to God, pray to him to give you the strength to reestablish your walk with God. For the bible tells us to not allow anything to go between us and the lord and to not allow evil things to invade our lives. And christian bands are no better, they capitalize on religion. Manson capitalizes on what teens are told is "weird" and "rebellious".

in 8th grade i was a faithful christian and suicidal. i spent a week in a hospitol after my mom sound out i wanted to die and they put me on medication and everything. it didn't really help much. i was still alive.

then, one morning, i was watching MTV, like i always used to do while getting ready for school. manson's new video for "the fight song" came on and i watched closley. i'd always been kinda into him but kinda scared. then the chorus came up, being "i am not a slave to a god that doesn't exist..." and that was the first time i thought of the possibily that there was no god. that chorus stuck with me in my head and the usual S*** happend daily like it does. then it was about late august, 2001, that i just threw it down and decided to have no god. and ya know what? i've never felt better. if there was anything weighing me down it was god. life is so much better without one. and if i'm goin to hell, so be it. a small price to pay for not being some depressed sheep scared of wrath. i'd like to thank manson for giving my life meaning. without him i'd probably be slain at my own hands by now.

it was 5 months after i was as suicidal as i ever was. the pieces were coming together and it just seemed most appealing to me, and it turned out to be the best choice. i'm seriously happier than i've ever been since i discarded any faith.
the only reason i would fall into the hands of satan would be if god let me go or promoted me to jump.

god and the world repeled him, or so i assume. you probably don't kow how it feels to be me but it's not that easy. it's not as hard as alot of people, but it's really not easy, especialy back then. i could relate to the lyrics so incredibly easy. i felt enslaved to somthing that wasn't real and i felt enslaved to a society that had no place for me. theres a whole generation; a whole fanbase that feels they've been betrayed by god and the world and marilyn manson was the foster parent who came to give them shelter. if christianity wasn't so hard to believe we wouldn't need the anti-christ to look up to.
