I got spanked a couple of times when I was really really bad when I was a child. I never get spanked now from my parents.
Hahah, same with Sayuri, when I got older, whenever my parents spanked me I would laugh. So eventually they stopped spanking me  .

 My parents don't believe in spanking or any other form of physical punishment. They just take my cell phone away. BTW, if you knew me, you'd know that I can't live without my phone.

My parent's never spanked or hit me.
They don't believe in that stuff.. Haha..I've never really been grounded or anything like that either - come to think of it, I don't really get punished for anything, considering that I never really do anything bad.

I used to get spanked a lot when I was little. I used to get smacked on the legs and hands too, with rulers/belts/hangers/you name it.
I think it stopped around when I was 10 or 11 maybe. |

it seemed like i got them every weekend, but they stopped when i was about...10 i think. and spanking, defined by law in some states, IS a form of child abuse. any form of violence is child abuse....even the words you say can be used as emotional abuse.....geez sometimes a kid just needs to get whipped but noo they to sheltered these days...
now i just get the 2 hours long lecture of why my actions were wrong...hell id rather have the whoopin... |

I just got the belt, now I get slapped. I used to get the belt a lot. I guess I was just a bad child
 . I don't get slapped as much anymore, mostly I just get grounded. I think it's a little weird to get officially "spanked" at 12, but every parent is different.

It depends on your family and your beliefs, mostly. My friend is from a strict Filipino family and still gets whipped from a bamboo thing. I'm Christian/white, and I've never been spanked or hit before.

When i was little yeah. Sometimes they'd come after me with the "tsanelas" [slipper], hanger, or belt. But it wasn't like harcore hitting with those. It all stopped when I got older. Now they use their "words" if they get angry with me

Eh yeah i use to get spankings only if i did something bad (in the parents eyes) I think the last time i got one was when i was 10 or 11 yesh. Now i get these STUPID lectures where they go over the topic OVER AND OVER AND OVER again and say the same thing for and hour to two hours. its a bitch. :(

oh man. i got whooped all the way up until like.....5th grade was when they stopped completely. it was worth it though, i guess. i mean, it's mainly because i don't do anything worth getting spanked/belted/pinched/etc.

I got spanked once. I don't remember what it was for, and I was pretty young then. But other than that, I've never gotten hit with anything else (ruler, belt, etc.).
