Ahh okay so i made a HUGE mistake (atleast thats what i think) anyways, i said a word which means I love you in Korean, the guy ISNT korean so he didnt know what it meant but i logged off (this all happened on MSN) and so now hes asking what it means and i just REALLY dont want to tell him, should i tell him what it REALLY means, or should i just tell a lie and say it means something like "read a book" or soemthing like that?

Btw, we also have a huge age difference..:[ .. well in my opinion. 3 years.ahh

well if he's not Korean and doesn't know what you're saying then why speak to him in Korean? or at least say "i love you" in Korean? i understand you don't want him to know, but if you already know he's not Korean, he's obviously going to wonder what it means and ask. so if you didn't want him to ponder the thought, you shouldn't have said it. but if you mean "i love you" what is there to be afraid of if you tell him? mellow.gif

if you say it means something like "read a book" i don't know if he'd believe you. that's just my thought.

well if you really like him / love him
then you should just tell him eventually.

But i don't get the whole different language thing. If you don't want to tell him in english don't tell him at all.

And age differences don't matter, age is just a number. I'm going out with a guy whos 5 yrs older than me. And yours is just 3. Be happy its only that much

If he really wanted to know, he would go find out himself. Telling him in English ruins it anyway.

well if you knew before hand that the guy was not Korean then it was really pointless to say " i love you " in Korean. but if you thot he was than it was an honest mistake! if you really have feelings for this guy jus come up and say that you like him . if you feel you are not ready to tell him (yet) just tell him it means to read a book or watch tv. lol GOOD LUCK!

if you said it, maybe it wasn't a mistake.
you should tell the truth. chances are he'll find out later.
if not, and you REALLY don't think it would help anything, tell him it wen't into the wrong IM? or day it means "iloveyou" in the friendly way. =D

I say, "go read a book."

-If you can't even admit to him that you love him, then I suggest you don't tell him at all.

^ That's exactly what I thought about it.

If you really like him, tell him you like him. I'm not sure about telling him you LOVE him, I'm not sure what kind of relationship you guys have, but at least let him know what you're feeling.

Well it's too late to take back anything u said, so i think if you guys are just friends but u like him, u could just tell him u LIKE him...love is a strong word. If you guys already go out and u really do love him than tell him.

I'm not understanding why you told him in a different language. If you love him, you shouldn't be afraid to tell him.

I agree with the others. Why'd you tell him in the first place? Just tell him it means I love you but if you don't want him to know thats how you really feel you can do it in a joking manner.

I think what might've happened is he looked it up online and found out what it meant.
And now, he just keeps bugging you to him him in English, so he can find out how you really meant it.

Well, um... I don't thik that 3 years is that big of a difference unless your really young... I guess it's a matter of opinion, but as long as your 13-14 or older. I really don't see 3 years as a big deal... If you love him. Then you love him, it's not a big deal, but make sure you understand what love is before you just throw it around.

Ok question number one do you know him in person, and even so um if you love him i think it would be best to let him know who knows he may just feel the same way.
