uhh brush making ?, help please.

uhh . this is kinda hard to explain . but i have this picture : : and i want to make it into a brush. but how do i make it so the sqaure shape dont show up when i actually use the brush > if you get what i mean . ... .. thanks in advance.

you would have to either erase what you don't want or make what you don't want white. Or at least that is the only way I know of

Duplicate the rose
Filter >> Blur >> guassian blur like 8 pixels
Lower the duplicated blurred layer to like 50% or whatever looks best

thats exactly what i mean. but when i do it with the picture . and define brush it. the edges are still so straight. is is possible to make the edges no longer straight ? thanks for all ur help

You have to merge the two layers

Once you merge them the picture is square like the one above?
Um the only way for it nto to be square is for you to cut out the flower.
