I'm only doing this poll to find out if people really care about weight. I see so many girls becomeing annerexic, or getting depressed over having a high metabolism... I'm talking about girls in general. Don't think about anything except the way that they are built.

Me personally I don't care about a girls weight as-long-as she is healthy, and she doesn't eat like a pig or stave like a homeless person I find them attrative. Of course I have to get to know them first, but if my girlfriend was starving herself or eating her self into a new bathtub (because she couldn't fit into the old one) I would be pretty discouraged... On the other hand, if her matabolism was to low or too high... I wouldn't mind at all, becuase it would be something beyond her control... why should I find her unattrative if she is who she is...

There are girls that are depressed over having a high metabolism? blink.gif HUH? This is odd - I agree with you. The thing is - I don't believe that girls are like that (the whole.. feeling pressured about their bodies) mainly because of their boyfriends and guys in general. I actually blame it on society - the media, rather. They're the ones exploiting all the stick-thin girls, pasting them in ads everywhere you look. ermm.gif

It's true, but many times it's like they can't even help being the way that they are... they beat themselves up, and they only do it becuase of the way society protreys women.

I'd perfer a skinny girl.
I mean, she doesn't have to be TOTALLY skinny.

I'm shallow, honestly, I wouldn't date someone like Mo'nique. Actually, I don't know. I havn't met someone overweight before.

It's alright to be shallow. The whole piont of this topic is to see whether or not weight accually matters... if it matters to you. Then I want to hear it.

Yeah, my good friend has a ridiculously high metabolism, and she's naturally a stick figure. She's a size one, but she has a big appetite. No matter how much she eats, it's just impossible for her to gain weight. And she wants to be fatter (fatter, not fat) just because she's so thin that she has no curves.

I work out, man, and I'm still 100 pounds. Wtf....... And I eat A LOT.

Anyway. I also blame it on media. You see all these It girls and people want to be like them. The thing they don't know though is.. photoshop. They edit EVERYTHING. A friend of mine is a photographer and the stories he's told me.. oh my.

To be honest, to me it doesn't matter, although I prefer not having skinny girls, but that doesn't mean I would never date a skinny girl. I like women who have a little meat on them.

I prefer skinny girls, not very skinny - just plain skinny. Haha. I am thin and I've got high metabolism and I am not depressed. Honestly, being fat doesn't exactly bother me, my boyfriend is big.

I like a girl with some meat on her bones. Not too skinny, not too chubby to the point where her stomach sticks out yenno. Just inbetween.

I voted skinny.
I don't find ANYTHING wrong with average + over average girls.
I'll hang my head in shame if I must.
