Does anyone have anything to discuss about? Recently, our fellow member would like to see us to continue with the bylaw. It had been really been dead for so long.

there are two things that need to happen:

1- the bylaws need to be formally written up.

2- the bylaws need to be formally adopted.

it is in NO WAY different. you just seem to be too dense to comprehend the other topic. buffoon.

Justin - Are we sure we've got everything covered? The issue before was with Jusun approving them... is that still necessary?

Didn't Jusun decide on the advertising issue after that whole advertising/affiliation thread a while back? Besides that there's really nothing else that needs to be discussed.

as far as i'm concerned, the bylaws don't have to be approved by micron to be adopted.

sure, he can get rid of them if he doesn't like them, but untill he does, i don't think there's any reason not to adopt them.

Isn't that why he, you know, removed himself as an admin? So that people wouldn't rely on him for things that don't concern him anymore?

For some reason I thought that the by-laws were already in affect, alteast most of them. The hiring part changes each hiring session. It's hard setting that part in stone since the community keeps on changing and sometimes it's better with nominations and other times using the application method.

I guess they do need to be written out officially or whatever, I wasn't sure who was supposed to do that after the by-laws were completed? I think james maybe since all this was his idea?

The current by-laws are basically complete...except under advertising it says "coming soon. be patient" or whatever, but i'm still not entirely sure what needs to be said about advertising on cb. I thought that advertising was just not allowed. period.

If another issue comes up that needs to be addressed, someone makes up a topic in the by-law forum, and we talk about that problem or idea, and then the committee decides if it needs to be added to the by-laws.
I never thought the by-laws would ever really be finished and set in stone, I always thought they would keep changing and things would be added in or taken out because this community changes.

Atleast that is my take on it. I'm not entirely sure what everyone else thinks about this subject.

But I do agree that we may need to replace a few people later on or now. Whenever the time is right.

i do believe she does. let me explain it to you. jusun was admin. he removed himself from the admin position and became an advisor since he wasn't in the least bit active and didn't want to be involved in the big decision makers... ie. approving the by-laws.

Can one of the higher-up mods contact Jusun and see if what is said above true?

It's quite dangerous to preassume this.

What they said was true; for a long time, Jusun had been easing into more or less "handing over" CB to the present admins. He still has all the control and works behind the scenes, but he is not as active in the actual forums and therefore, does not have ultimate say in every decision.

But bluntness is rarely nice either. Amusing, but not nice by traditional standards.

^ Yes, but it's better than telling someone to shut up or caling them names - and it has deniability - you can say, "I was just staing the facts"
