I am using a 17" macbook pro. I have tried to watch the video that I have on my myspace site but nothing. I have gone to mac and they can't seem to figure it out.

I have downloaded flip4mac as well as flash player. Flip4mac is suppose to work as windows media player 9. However the only thing I get is the yahoo launch add and no video.

Is this normal? I have downloaded and reloaded flip4mac and the same thing continues to happen.

Is Apple able to play myspace videos at all???

Is there a video site soly dedicated to intel mac to play videos? Or this is simply a common problem with macs?

Thanks!

p.s. --the site I got the video code is www.myspacevideocode.com

um I have an apple too, and I actually never tried watching myspace videos. But can you link me to the one you want to see and let me see if I can see it?

No there is no site dedicated to Mac videos.

Also um myspace is undergoing work so yea. Ask your windows friends if they can see it. If they can its most likely the computer.

The reason you can't watch it is because its a windows media player video. You can tell by the player the video is in. You need to download windows media player for Mac.

Some people recommend it, I don't , atleast because I had problems with it. Like a slower computer, etc. But it might not happen to you. Once you download it and have it installed you should be able to watch the video.

what's interesting is that the only player that exists to play those videos is that flip4mac that I was telling you about. I have tried it and still doesn't work.

Windows does not make another version for a universal application. I can try givin it a shot again and see what happens...

Make sure you set the correct flip4mac settings under system prefrences. Go through and read all the settings not only the ones on the main screen, but hte ones for movies, etc , then make your choices! Which allow it to play on the internet. Then restart. Then hope it works.

Otherwise, all you can do is keep asking the mac support people.
