does anyone here just love local carnivals? ....i find it cute . knowing that there will be rides just a few blocks away from your house . and you just spend wasting away your summer days & nights shifty.gif during that whole week just there . my favorite Carnival town rides are the zipper and the gravity . i LOVE the Gravity it spins you around like crazy yet i dont feel the ease too throw up ...and some of the rides like the mini tea coasters which spin you around as well . the slides i love too . too bad we dont have a ferris wheel this year . but me and my friends from college just spent our whole week barging in the lines and ridding zippers 53453534 times for the heck of it . then just went back home to chiill .. rolleyes.gif anyone love those days?

I haven't been to any local carnivals around here, so I can't really say. But this makes me think of the Adventure Dome at the Circus Circus. Kind of like a carnival..rides and all. _smile.gif

Aah, I love carnivals! I used to love going on those big slides over and over. Those rides that get you dizzy as hell are fun too, haha. Only downside is spending all your money on tickets. =p

We have one here every May, a few weeks after my birthday. They ruin the tennis courts and spill soda on them. sad.gif Otherwise, I love it. The rides sucked this year, though. I personally dislike the gravity one. I remember going on it last year with my friends. We were all like.. "WTF? Why the hell is Kevin going up and we're down here..?" and then we went up. mellow.gif Ah, good times.

Oh god, the last time I went to one of those, I got annoyed with all the mirrors in the hall of mirrors so I stopped groping around to find openings and bumped right into the glass and had a bump on the left side of my forehead. I miss talking to the girl I went with, even though we never were that close. :\

The church down the street from my house had their festival in June. It ended up raining, but it was still a lot of fun anyway.
Fist time I'd gone in ages, and the only thing I got to ride was the "scrambler" spinny thing.

We have Santa Cali Gon days.
Which is basically Santa Fe, California, Oregon.
Or something like that, I live in that crazy town where the Oregon trail started.
Im sure most kids played that in elementary school.
But we have that once a year with the ferris wheel and al those things.
The funnel cake.. man.

Its just a good time, but it gets to be pretty 'white trash'
I dont mean that in a racist way either, Im white.

They are a carnival near my house today. I didn't go though. Each year it gets worst so I didn't bother going. It happens once a year in summer. They have really bad rides, kiddy rides & sloggy popcorn.

Hehe, yes. My cousins&I went to a local carnival near the Great Mall a couple of months ago, and it was okayyy. The food was splendid, the rides were okay-ish, the guys were perverts, but yeah. The "funhouse" was lame, though. It consisted of those mirrors where it makes you obese and anorexic-like, and a broken TV in the next room.

There's a big carnival where I live every summer, sort of like Six Flags.

I used to go every year, but I haven't gone in about 3 years. I might go this year..I've just been too lazy. pinch.gif

We don't really get carnivals around here, it's mostly livestock shows and fairs and whatnot. The closest we get it when the Tulsa state fair is in town.

I go to those like once a year. I agree with Dani, its mostly fairs and such. I use to like like a really short walk from when one use to come then I moved. I don't ever get on the rides or anything I just watch everyone.
