All you have to do is think about all the bullshit you have to put up with when your in a relationship... Life is easier and alot less stressful when you are ina relationship... I was single for 1 1/2 years before I started going out with Holly. I loved every second of being single, and I love every second of being in a relationship.

i had a boyfriend for about 9 months.. then 2 months later i got a new boyfriend. we have been together for about 2 years and we were perfect for eachother.. now im going to be a single mom. but i dont care. guys suck. i wish i had just dumped his ass and stayed single for a very long time.
not that you will be an idiot like myself.. just a thought, you should be happy being single until you meet someone who you trust. otherwise, its not real, its just the feeling of being held. |

i love having a boyfriend...i was single for well over a year before i met my current boyfriend. id talk to other guys, but never began any relationships. it's nice knowing that you always have someone to talk to and i think that knowing that someone loves you just as much as you love them is a very good feeling. i hate being lonely, and i know that i'm a lot happier with my boyfriend than i was when i was single.

Um, well, sooner or later, you'll find the one person that makes you feel special, and happy.. and you'll have a boyfriend. No luck for me though. I'm single right now, and I'm 13. I seem young, but I see alot of 13 year old girls getting boyfriends  . Even having sex at 13. Gross.But heyyy. I think it's alright having no boyfriend. Nothing to worry about, you're like free. |

Sorry I no this doesn't help you but I'm loving being in a relatioinship with ma boyfriend, but I had to wait for awhile to find the right guy. I also had a few offers but you just have to be patient and wait for someone you really want to be with. Trust me, it's all worth it when u do.

pretty much a long time... if i like someone, there is always a chance of me to get with that person [leave it to my friends] b/c they'll make ANY crush i have serious!! take my boyfriend for example; i liked him, he sorta liked me, my friends 'persuaded' him to like me, he asked me out on my bday -- thats that! It's a paradox. Humans are wired to desire companionship, yet if you've never been in a relationship, you'd be perfectly content to be single all your life. I, personally, am in that position. I'm only 14. 14 year-old boys are idiots. So are 16 & 17 year-old boys.
Think of it this way: Boys are idiots. Men are intelligent & developed. (Physically & mentally.) Looking at it in those terms, would you rather go through a slew of boys when you're young and be unhappy or wait for a man until you're older and be happy for the rest of your life? |

personally i like being single because i flirt with guys and also have time to concentrate on my school work and hang out with my friends. having a boyfriend takes my mind of my work and then i cant talk with other guys while the boyfriend is tripping over things that arent that big of a deal and they think you dont spend enough time with them if your hanging out with your friends. dont worry you will have enough time to have a boyfriend and prolly the rest of your life married to one, i say live life!

i was single for a little over a year, but it didnt bother me. I didnt have to worry about flirting and getting 'In trouble' or looking at someone who i know is FINE and 'Getting in trouble'. Then agian i know what youre feeling, for about a week after me and my old girlfriend broke up i was lonley, you get over it. Think about all those other cute guys you get to swoop on. ;) And also sometimes after feeling the need to be with some one and then letting go you start to love being on your own because you relize you dont need a relationship to validate you. And when the right one comes round you learn that they respect you for being independent, and thats how you know you've survived. Often enough 2 dependant ppl eat away at each other. Time. Time is all it takes.
