High School is the same as Middle School to me.
I mean, it isn't, but I didn't really feel a drastic change. But I must be honest, High School has a lot more homework than Middle School. It's like in Middle School, you're a proud that you slept at 2 AM. In High School, you're grateful that you get to sleep at 2. But, that's just our High School. Not sure if the same applies to you o_o High School is definately better than Middle School though because you get A LOT more freedom. &Lots more friends too. It's fun. Don't worry about it. ;) |

You kids reallllly have nothing to worry about. I guess it wasn't as difficult for me bc I was like 5'10" and I was in a few upper-level classes.
Our biggest gripes as upperclassmen about freshmen: Don't carry around a giant backpack... it screams, "FRESHMAN" Don't stand in the middle of the halls and hug your friends. Don't act cocky around upperclassmen. |

ahh to me, when i was freshman, i was really scared, but then it was great, it's similar to middle school, except there's more homework and you get more stressout about work and all that stuff, but other than that it was pretty good, don't worry, it isn't as bad as you think :).

i'm going into 8th grade next year...
but i wanna be going to high school... i mean... new/more people/guys... less rules, i'd get to be in the same school as my brother... also!! the highschool that i'm going to has waaaaaaay more days off than the school that i go to now... ugh, i hated coming home to my brother on the computer... all those fun things... the only thing i'm not looking forward to... the lockers... at my school they're like way bigger than the ones at the highschool... ugh. |

Omigosh, I just finished my freshman year and I absolutely loved it!!
I was soo scared last summer before going for my first year of high school, but, it turned out to be so much better than I expected. You meet so many awesome people, and I find it's better than elementary and middle school. Just get involved and you'll love it! Good luck!

hah, I remember my first day so clearly. It's not that bad, seriously. It's different from middle school, but that doesn't mean it has to be a bad experience. Some people have a hard time adjusting, and other people just slide right in and find their place. I had a really hard time my first semester, but after that, it was smooth sailing.

I'm starting my Junior year of high school in September and so far, I loved high school. Sure, they were the usual ups and downs, but for the most part, it's been fun.
I was scared my first day, freshman year, but then everything just fell into place, I guess. |

i think that people claim that high school ... especially freshman year.. is bad because they want to scare you. i had the same mindset going into high school last year, but it was the complete opposite! high school is a lot more fun than middle school because teachers treat you like adults. you have more freedom and the upperclassmen aren't mean as long as you don't start trouble.

I'm gonna be a senior this coming September, and I still remember my first day of freshman year lol. I was pretty nervous in meeting some people, and I didn't have anyone in my homeroom that I knew. For the first few months I stuck with some of my friends from elementary and eventually I made a bunch of friends.
But highschool isn't bad.. only if you make it out to be. It'll be the fastest 4 years of your life, that's for sure. I feel like I just started highschool, but I'm a senior already.  You'll def meet a lot of people, because you'll have different people in all your classes.. so it's pretty exciting to see who's gonna be in your class lol. Once you make friends who you're comfortable with, everything'll be alright. |

i went to a junior high, so i'm going into 10th grade, which is entering high school for us. i'm kinda worried it's going to be like 'Mean Girls', with the catty girls and horny guys... ehh. i'm happy i might get to see some old (older) friends though.
