I think she is such a fool.. I'm getting tired of seeing her and Cofee Anon's smiling faces on the news every day.

People are dying, war is near, and those fucks smile and laugh up the photo ops.

meanwhile they hold meetings and draft resolutions that arent worth the paper they are printed on

Colin Powell couldnt do better but at least he wouldnt look like hes on a 7 day cruise to Tahiti.

^ I don't see anyone else doing any better - anyone else. In fact, she's attempted more than most.

At least she's trying - the Middle East is no cupcake, and I admire her - she's a great woman.

Hmm, I've neverheard of her.

What exactly is she doing to be on the news and have her name inked into newspaper?

She's the senator girl (senator right?) that has strong beliefs in what she believes in, to some people she may be annoying and ignorant, but to some others she may be an Idol and and a great speaker. She's good at debating, and putting her strong opinions into action, like the war for example or the new goverment set up in Iraq. I think she's a koo person.

Wow... and people wonder why Americans are so stupid.

SHE'S THE SECRETARY OF STATE!

There is no hope for America I'm afraid... Where do you guys go to school? I'd like to e-mail your principal and tell him what a fine teaching job his history teachers are doing, lmao. It's not your fault. It's the education system.

Anyway, about Mrs. Rice. I think she is an amazing woman and doing the best she can and doing a very good job at that. I can't stand when people nit pick at figure heads of this country and say things like "She laughed at a news conference! THERE ARE PEOPLE DYING!" For Christ's sake, get a life. You have nothing better to pick at them about. I'm sure if you pissed green, that'd be her fault too, right? Yet if she wasn't trying to lighten up the mood a bit, people would attack her for being too serious and boring.

Ugh, I can't stand people like that. On a further note, what the hell good does it do for this country to sit there and mock your own leaders? Then I suppose you turn right around and ask why countries don't respect us. If the United State's own people can't show a little respect, how the hell do you figure anyone else will? If you don't like who is in office, DEAL WITH IT. We (probably most of our parents right now) have the right to vote. If the person you vote for doesn't make it into office, don't sit there and complain about them laughing at a press conference. DO something about it. Actually, try your best to work with who DID get in office. Don't nit pick on them about every little thing. verymad.gif I try my best to work with who we have, regardless of what party they belong to or how much I dislike them. I try to keep positive. Democrats and Republicans need to grow up and quit being immature and WORK TOGETHER. Quit trying to make each other look bad.

Man, this stuff pisses me off, haha. happy.gif

Bill Gates is holding a campeign I believe because of the number of dropouts in schools.

I think it's all his fault. He's the one who invented microsoft, afterall. He's the one that made computer technology all the better, therefor students use his programs rather than completing assignments.

All the while he's earning money for his microsoft. hmmph.

*Sigh* I appreciated that post, Brenden. worthy.gif But to reply to this (and gah please don't take this offensively.. I seem to emit that kind of vibe.. ANYWHO), m'dear, technology isn't the evil here. You see, it should actually better the progress of the human mind. In many cases it does, simply because one can access so much in so little of time. Unfortunately people don't use their computers for good. They'd rather waste brain cells on MySpace instead of reading up on world news and politics. wink.gif

^2 hmm interesting point , I watch CNN everytime my old man turns on the TV and you'd be surprised how much INFO they tell you is actually really interesting. I may not be a big fan of Politics, but it has it's moments. Like you said Technology isn't the victim it's about how the Humans apply them selves and make use of their time. And if people don't really know we're on the edge of maybe having a WW3 with damn Iran being involved and sh*t. and How alliances are gettin worse.. China want's to actually be ally's with us, but what did they do to us in the past? they supported communist country the Soviet Union, and still lost. Now their seeking for help.as most of you may know North Korea is stockpiled with Nuclear and weapons of mass destruction. so Once in awhile take time off and watch some News. it's interesting

pinch.gif Good. Next time you have some complaint about something political do NOT even open your mouth, please. happy.gif I don't want to hear someone who makes my ears bleed with their rant when they don't even vote. That pisses me off so bad.

Someone over 18: "BLAH BLAH BLAH BUSH SUCKS BLAH BLAH."
Me: Did you vote?
Them: "NO! VOTING'S STUPID!"
Me: "THEN DON'T F***ING COMPLAIN ABOUT IT!"

Haha, not saying you'd do that, but still. -_-'

Indeed 'tis. I, for one, fear for my generation. I look around, and I can honestly say I'm scared of how unprepared we will be. There are too many incompetents among us. *Eye twitches*

I'm scared..because why? Of the lack of education we are getting. Kathleen, you did change my opinion on the techonology thing, but I guess there's more to it.

In many places in America, students are not getting the education they need to keep the states as the world power. Because that's what we are right now - we rule the world, as harsh as that sounds. Which makes Bush the leader of this world, partnered with other world leaders.

But this generation, mine and yours, are the future. We are the future. And many of us are not being educated to lead, vote, and just manage our own small lives.

On Oprah, a highschool valedvictorian was interviewed. However, the education in her highschool was so bad, she felt completely lost in college.

Think about it - Highschool 4.0 Validvictorian (sp?) failing college classes. Now that does not seem right. If that one child could've gone to a school with a better curriculum (sp?), she could've been a powerful leader - whether she was to be a mayor, senator, governor, or president, she did not have the education.

And that, to me, is an icon for this whole country. If a validvictorian can't make it, who can?
