Why are a lot of chinese people racist?

I mean the ones from china that come to America.
Like my mom and my grandma and my family.
They're all racist to Americans or blcak people.

WTF WHY? crazy.gif

My friend's mom's like that too.
If we make friends with a black person,
both our moms would ask questions about him/her.
It's like they dont want us to have black friends.

AND LIKE, my mom always says americans are stupid.

She's most satisified when I make a chinese/asian friend.

Shouldn't the real question be why is anyone racist? And there is no right answer to that, and there's really nothing you can do about it.

I get that though. My mom is subtly racist against blacks, and it pisses me off. At least it was subtle until the other night when I was outside talking on the phone with Kathleen & Brenden, and I got chewed out because my mom thought I was talking to/flirting with the black neighbor.

...

Yeah, she's psycho.

And I find in general that a lot of Asians are racist, not just the Chinese ones.

A lot of chinese people i Know are not racist. Well alot of Asian people I know are not racist. It is usually the white people that i know that are racist as f**k, There is awlays going to be racist people..

i think the reason why they ask a bunch of questions is because asian people sterotype alot well at least all the asian people i know, they they sterotype black people mostle for doing crimes and stuff like that no offense to anybody but thats how my mom is she is scared of letting a black frfiend of mine into the house lol i was like umm wtf why you scared for i odnt know seems as if my parents generations think that way

I really have NO idea. Last night I was on the phone with Dani and Jose and my grandma was all like "Are they Mexican? Chinese? Indian? WTH are they?" I was just like.. uhh.. ._. My mom like doesen't want me assosiating with Hispanic people and it pisses me off. _dry.gif

I think most people that come here from other countries are not "racist" but their not used to other cultures so they just stereotype them depending on what their culture displays certain ethnic groups as.

same here. it sucks.

everytime i tell her i'm going to a friend's house, she asks me if my friend's chinese or vietnamese. if i say that my friend's black, she doesn't let me go. ;\

Well i understand what you mean. A lot of my chinese friends parents dont like me besides the ones that grew up living next door to me. They think im like every other black youth out there these days. Ignorant to sum it up. Its just something we have to live with until we ourselfs try to change it which i dont see happening anytime soon. Anywho eh thats just parents trying to look out for you yenno.

I mean if they're assuming that people are like that especially Black folks, I know alot of black people who are kooand none of em are racist, do good in school and have a positive attitude. Assuming the opposite just makes you look like an ass.

My parents are like that too. Will not to the effect of some of your parents (not letting me go to someone's house because of their race). I guess everyone discriminates and gets discriminated upon.

Yeah, I see a lot of that. It furiates (sp?) me. We, as a nation, need to change people's opinions.
