I didn't know where to put this and The Lounge would get the most attention, but mods will move it accordingly.
I have cB stats for my myspace, and while it shows I've had visits, it doesn't show the user. It doesn't give me the link to the myspace of the person who visited, it just says anonymous. It's annoying because I want to see who's looking at my myspace from half a country way or just a city over. Plus i get like 22 from the same person in 1 day and I want to know who it is Lol. Is it something I did wrong with the code or is it just like that ? |

Actually, I don't think you can't track names with the Myspae tracker, so it'll always be anonymous. The IP number and where they're coming from should still show up though.

Knowing who views you rmyspace is against the myspace terms of service. You can read more about it here. But you can get one of those other trackers. They will tell you who viewed your profile, if that person is a member of that site. I haven't tested it, but thats what's been said.

Maybe you can invent an IP Address Identifierr. That'd be cool. ;] Or search google for one, at least.

There are ip thngs , but they can't tell you who exactly it is, but people can easily change their ip. Atleast I was told. There is a whois though, but it doesn't help much.

Yeah whoisonmyspace is caca. They make you take a HUUUUUGE survey, and I just wanted to get through it and get to my tracker ( it actually works, i was told ) and then it asks questions about the survye to see if you actually took it. If you answer the questions wrong your account gets locked. It's bullshit. But I still want to see who's been looking at my profile 22 times a day.

Then again the average myspace user probably isn't aware of the concept of IPs to begin with, let alone be concious enough to go out of their way to spoof it.
