I say come clean with your mother. If you ARE pregnant it'd be better for her to know. And if you've had irregular periods before maybe it would be best to see a gyno.

You know you could just be late, stress, diet, and illness can make you late or even skip your period. It's pretty normal, happens to me all the time and I'm sixteen.

Go to your pharmacy and get the morning after pill. It's supposed to start your menstrual cycle so that the egg is dislodged from your body, ensuring that it is not fertilized and shit, so if you take it, you'll get your period. My friend's abortion was a grand, so good freaking luck.

Idk if this was mentioned..but stress can cause delayed peirods. Mine was later than I thought it was gonna be..but I also reminded myself I was pretty stressed out with things going on. It depends how long you've been on your period. I got my first one at 10 years old..so at 16..it wouldn't be normal for me to really have a screwy period..some girls though don't really get regulated...even after having their periods for a long time.
Also it could be switching cycles??

Just put tampon wrappers in the trash can for crying out loud. Your mother can't expect you to SHOW her the actual tampon, so it doesn't matter if you use fake blood or not.

and, its too late for this. but you obviuosly werent ready to have sex if you cant tell your mom, visit an OBGYN, or know if your skipped period is normal or not. Ive skipped periods before b/c of stress.

It's not actually that unusual... to have a late period. If you're doing lots of athletic events, not eating enough... But it's even normal to miss one occasionally - rarely.. but it's normal and it happens. I missed one when I was 15.
