I recently took a look at my own member profile to notice that I've actually submitted about eighteen layouts (I was shocked, trust me). It's hilarious because I look back at my earliest ones (which were made pre-PhotoShop/Paint) and wow.. I'm certainly not a fabulous designer now, but it's interesting to see how far I've come. It's also fun to look back at ancient posts now and then to see how your ideas have changed and how you've grown as a person. I mean, it's been over two years for me, but people change even in a year.

Edit // I want this to be strictly about cB, and how you've noticed a change in yourself through the forums, whether it's with graphics/layouts or posts.

^ Aww! tongue.gif I was shocked to see that I typed in complete sentences and exactly how I type now, starting with my initial post. Granted, the content of my posts and quality have improved immensely. XD.gif

I remember when my posts weren't sarcastic or mean. Then again I was talking to completely different kind of people. Rawr.

I just like observing that, even with the insane amount of time i have spent on cb in the last year and a bit, my typing has not improved one iota.

except for that last paragraph, where i was paying attention.

Well thank god I stopped dating Tom, all that lovey-dovey crap made me stupid! Haha I kid. Anyway, I think I leveled out a bit after I joined and have mostly stayed the same. Still, it is enjoyable to look at old posts and laugh.

Ha, Kethleen I think I told you lastnight how I think it's so funny to look at members first posts and see how stupid they acted. I did too... uber newbish, lol.

I guess how I've changed is I'm serious about cB and I actually enjoy coming here. I've gotten a lot more experienced.

Hmm . . . I haven't changed at all. Many people are different though, they're taking cB TOO seriously. So serious, that they're becoming quite boring. yawn.gif

^ There was a Pink Floyd cd/record showing a pig fly. My dad firmy believes that one day pigs will fly.

And you gotta be a bit uptight if you ever want to get anywhere. A bit. Not a lot. Like A LOT.

I have a feeling that CB getting better will have to come BEFORE the loss of the uptightness and seriousness.

just a little hunch

Oh sandra... sigh.

Personally, the whining about the uptightness is at least as tedious if not moreso than the actual uptightness. At least that has a purpose

I was just stating in general. 'You' as in most of the active cB posters.

Oh honestly.

yes, fine, i apolgize to the world for our collective uptightness. Let's give it up now, and leave the rest to the people who want to exist seemingly to give the rest of us a pain in the ass!

Who's with me?
